Pet care experience
When I was a teenager, our family dog was in it's last year's of life. So we all took part in caring for him. He was a newfoundland, so a big guy, but such a love muffin. It wasn't easy but it was easy loving him and caring for him. We carried him down stairs to go outside into the lawn to make his business. And carried him up. Bathed him. All the great animal hospice care 💅. It was a privilege, though I didn't know it at the time. I currently volunteer with large dogs twice a week. Assisting playgroups and walking dogs. Helping with adoptions and other miscellaneous care things that needs to be done. I also have a cat companion.

I work for a large open admissions animal shelter and Dalton assists with large dog playgroups. Dalton has been a responsible volunteer, always showing up on time and with a great attitude. Dalton's handling skills are great, and Dalton has a very nice way with the shy/timid dogs. I whole heartily recommend Dalton for your pet sitting needs!
Dalton is an amazing pet caregiver. I have left my cat in their care and when I returned home, Atticus was clearly so well loved and happy. I know that Dalton also uses their spare time to volunteer with large dogs at the Oakland Animal Shelter, Dalton truly has a heart for pets and caring for animals. I recommend them wholeheartedly!

I care for each animal as it needs. All animals are different and will need some different amount of care. My cat doesn't like loud noises or fast movements. So I do my best to minimize loud noises (walking loud, setting things down gently, even trying to muffle a cough, etc.).

A typical day
Going through tricks they know, teaching then me ones. Playing any games they like. Depending on the dog, seeing about putting a play group together. Dog socializing. Of course going out for walks!

I'm currently looking to transition into dog walking full time. I left my job at Oakland Animal Services due to the stress and harm it was causing to my health. But Animal care is my passion.
