Pet care experience
Big news! Moving from Palmer, Alaska to North Royalton, Oh. By fall, I will resume my world class pet care services in NE Ohio. I am a Navy Veteran, 66, and recently retired from AT&T. I have over 50 years of experience owning and caring for Dogs and a few Cats, and 10 years experience showing and breeding Shetland Sheepdogs. My wife and I train all of our puppies, and currently care for 6 dogs from 1 to 13 years. Our puppy owners rave about how well balanced and well socialized our pups are. We have also boarded dogs, usually our own puppies that come back to stay with us. Working with and loving dogs and cats comes naturally for me, and I have a soft spot for seniors. I can give meds, feed and water, clean litter boxes, recognize health and behavior issues and be proactive in assuring your furbabies get love and attention when you are not able to be there 24 X 7. I have worked with dogs as large as a pair of Great Danes. I emphasize dogs, but be comfortable if you are a cat owner as well. Other animals are welcomed on approval.

He was exceptionally reliable, which is critical when we are dependent on someone else/can't be home for the safety and care if our pets. He was very knowledgeable about dog behavior and sent us a photo/s for each walk. I can not stress how grateful we were for the reliability and experience he has with dogs and their different temperments/special needs, as well as his updates and keeping us informed of issues daily.
Dale did a fantastic job caring for our 4 cats while we were out of town. He was excellent at communicating and updating us on how things were going. We got daily pictures and brief updates on what the cats were up to. We had never left the cats before because I didn’t trust someone to take good care of them. Dale’s pictures and updates and his reliability put me at ease. I highly recommend him to pet sit.
Great communication with me. Appreciated that he even reached out prior to kitty sitting to ensure everything was still a go. Will definitely use again in the future. Highly recommend for any of your pet care needs.

You can rest easy giving me access to your home to care for your pets. I held a Secret Security Clearance until retiring which requires extensive screening. If you choose Dog walking also, know they are in good hands.

With 10 years of experience training Shelties from birth, and a lifelong history of dog ownership I am well versed in the unique traits and behavior of most types of dogs. I do require a meet and greet before booking, to assure you are comfortable with booking me and that I am comfortable assuring a quality experience for your pets. Please inform me of pet health issues such as ongoing treatments, conditions, etc. I can handle the largest breeds safely, and carry a deterrent device in the unlikely event that a dangerous situation with outside dogs were to unfold. I pride myself on being punctual and reliable.
A typical day
I will be at your home at least 30 minutes on each trip, for visits or a Dog walk. I will text you 100% of the time upon arrival and when leaving, and I love to send photo updates. I am big on communication. Wagging tails greet me when I arrive at your home, I speak fluent Dog and Cat and am able to enrich their day with 30 minutes of play time, belly rubs, chasing balls, and lots of conversation. I have a soft spot for Seniors, and welcome them into my care as well as puppies. Special needs are no problem, medications or other needs. Cat care of course is available as well, everything needed to keep your furbabies happy and healthy while you are away.
