Pet care experience
I have had dogs for as long as I can remember! My building doesn't currently allow pets so I sadly don't get my furry freind fix often enough. I regularly care for my friends' dogs while they are out of town and it brings me a lot of joy! I love to walk and run on my own and would love to start having an exercise buddy, or several :)

Dalas watched our two Golden Retrievers and our cat in our home over Thanksgiving. One of our dogs, Daisy, is very high energy and vocal - I must admit that I was nervous about leaving her with a sitter. But Dalas is amazing and has a great energy and wonderful personality. She's capable and calm and she cared for our pets like they were her own. She sent us pictures daily from walks and just hanging out. We came home to 3 happy pets and are definitely booking Dalas the next time we have to leave town. We love her! 5 stars for sure!
Dalas was so incredible with both of our dogs. We have a large pit bull Bennie that requires a little extra attention on walks and as well as an elderly mixed breed small dog, Lula, that needs medication twice a day. Dalas went above and beyond dog sitting and walking them, sending us photos and updates while we moved our daughter into her dorm. We’ll definitely be booking again for parents weekend! Thanks Dalas.
If you know Dalas, you know she is one of the most thoughtful and caring people in your life. She puts everyone elses needs above her own, sometimes even too often. But she is a person who everyone wants around and someone who people would trust with their most prized possessions. I am not saying this just cause, but if I had to come up with one person I would ask to look after ,y dog, she would be my first call and I can't think of anyone better for this job. She. is the best choice not only for the pet but for the home and family she is being welcome into.
I have used Dalas many times to care for my dog Sami, a very energetic Lab. Dalas is my go-to person, I trust her completely and know that Sami will be well cared for in my absence. Dalas is a great communicator and easy to book. She is a five star provider and I am giving my highest recommendation to use her to care for your pet.

I would only care for pets in a client's respective home and would follow all guidelines requested (if pets aren't allowed in the bed though odds are good I might sleep on the floor with them). I also have a great deal of common sense and can pick up on any warning signs if the pet is struggling or needs urgent assistance.
Information Dalas D. would like to know about your pet
It is very important to know or have a sense of how dogs interact with other dogs while on a walk or any other factors that are triggering that one should avoid. It is important that I know how much exercise the dog is used to as well as any special needs the dog might have such as medication, feeding habits, and or potty scheudle.
A typical day
I really enjoy going on long walks and hikes. I typically walk on the strand or the greenbelt unless a less-crowded route is requested. If I am doing a multiple day stay I usually like to take my new friend on a hike in palos verdes :)

Availability
I work a typical 9-5 schedule but I am an early riser so I am available most days between 6am and 8:30 am or for an evening stroll anytime after 5! I also really enjoy running so if your pet is high energy I would be happy to run instead of walk for a few bonus bucks :) Available for longer weekend walks as well.
