When we did our meet-and-greet with Dakota, she was friendly and we thought she would do well. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience at all. Dakota watched our dog and cat for 2 evenings , staying overnight. Dakota was told specifically that she could not bring her small dog to our house. Our cat is large and very aggressive towards dogs not in his pack. It was for her dog’s own safety, as our cat could severely injure a small dog. When we came home, we found a small dog poop on our carpet (our dog is a Pyr…so not from her) and a small pee patch upstairs. We asked Dakota if she brought her dog over, and she was honest and said yes. Regardless of the reason the dog was brought over, we were never asked, told, or made aware she was doing this. We only found out because we came home from vacation to dog poop on our carpet. We feel bad giving a negative review, especially for someone trying to work a side gig, but we don’t feel Dakota treated our home, or wishes, with respect. We cannot recommend her services to anyone else based on the issues we experienced.

Dakota watched my dog a few times, and I’ve always never had a bad experience. My dog loves her and actually whines when she sees her!
