In the amount of time I've been alive, my family has always cared for dogs (and other animals). This extended experience through my formative years helped fully develop my qualities of responsibility, focus, cooperation, care, and patience that I now exercise with the confidence that allows me to be not merely an adequate, but rather an admirable, sitter. My approach puts the comfort and stress level of the dog front and center with due diligence taken to ensure its needs are met.

I cannot say enough great things about Dakoda. He totally gets dogs and is so wonderful to work with. My dog has stayed with him two times now with a third coming up. She's a bit of a nervous girl but every time I pick her up from Dakoda's, she's happy and energized. He's great at sending updates during stays and you can tell how much he cares about his furry clients.
Honest, transparent, professional. Highly recommend Dakoda for dogs and cats as well as housesitting. Gracious with extra small requests, respectful and took the BEST photo of our sweet dog!
Dakota was responsive and responsible with our needs, household tasks and pets. House was clean and animals seemed well cared for. He was polite and respectful.
Dakoda was great! Very accommodating of my last minute reservation and quick to respond to my messages. My cat is very shy around strangers and he hid under the bed for the first few days, but he eventually came out and when I picked him up he seemed comfortable enough.

Outside of the house, I prefer local neighborhoods and parks. Games of catch, small bursts of running, and exploring the area together make up the majority of time spent.
