Hi! I’m Daisy, and I have a lifetime of pet care experience. Growing up, I had a dog, hedgehog, and turtle, and one of my first jobs was taking care of my friends’ or neighbors’ animals when they were away. I have taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs & other small rodents, reptiles, and fish. I’ve provided dog-walking services for many of my coworkers, bosses, and friends over the years, and I have experience caring for dogs with health issues and older dogs. My main job is with AmeriCorps, doing ecological restoration (aka planting trees). In my free time, I love to hike and enjoy nature. Animal care is another passion of mine, and right now it allows me to supplement my stipend by doing something that I truly love.

Daisy took care of my cat Henry a few times while I was out of town, and I have honestly never had a better cat sitter. She was so attentive and sent me updates and pictures all the time which I really appreciated because I have major separation anxiety. She is very responsible and I would trust her with my animals any time. She is always the first person I think of when I need someone I can trust to watch over Henry.
To whom it may concern, Daisy T is the gentlest person I know. Her love for animals (and more generally, for nature) runs deep. So if you are looking for a kind and genuine dog sitter, look no further. I have seen Ms. Torres interact with dogs on multiple occasions, and she always strikes that perfect balance between kindness and authority; her own dog, Buddy, has become a playful yet obedient because of this. Daisy would make the perfect dog sitter, dog walker, and employee. I highly suggest that you enlist her services for your own dog. She’s one of a kind, just like your pup!
Daisy is one of the kindest pet lovers I know. She grew up with a dog that was with her family for 15 years and has experience as a responsible dog walker and caregiver to others' pets as well. Daisy is reliable, quick thinking, and confident, which makes her able to handle whatever comes her way. I trust her with our rescue pup, who can be a handful! We love her--you and your dog will too!

I’m available to travel to your home for overnight stays, drop-in visits and walks. (Special instructions are always appreciated, they help me provide the kind of care your pet expects!) I also live within walking distance of several dog-friendly parks, and would be happy to coordinate pickups/drop-offs for walks in my area. I currently share a living space with 3 roommates, a cat, and my gecko, so unfortunately, my home is not suited for overnight boarding at this time.

A typical day
Your pet’s health is my top priority, and my services are sure to meet your pet’s specific exercise & entertainment needs. My absolute favorite thing to do is spend time outdoors: my favorite spots are Green Lake and the Maple Leaf Reservoir Park, where I frequently go on runs and walks. Under my care, your pet’s outing with me could include anything from a run or game of frisbee in the park, to a leisurely stroll, or even a picnic — the activity will depend largely on what your pet prefers, and I am happy to accommodate!

Most weeks, I work from 8-5 with alternating Mondays off; however, I go on occasional multi-day camping trips for work, so my calendar is the best place to check my availability.
