HI, I am 22 years old and I've always loved animals, especially dogs. I currently have a miniature schnauzer named Bama Joe and he is about to be 10 years old. I potty trained him when he was a year old, I taught him how to play dead, roll over, high five and speak. It took a few months to completely teach him those tricks but with a lot of patience, I did it. Even through all the butt licking and kicking me in the ribs during the night, he's the sweetest dog ever. I taught myself how to groom him because he requires a special type of haircut and I wanted to save money. I learned very quickly how to trim his hair and keep him comfortable during the haircut.
