Pet care experience
I have been a lifetime dog owner. I have experienced many breeds of dogs by being a volunteer at the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society. At the shelter, I have walked dogs of all sizes, spend time with their cats, and promote their adoptable animals on social media with my photography and video production skills. I also enjoy photographing wild animals in my spare time. I have owned fish, turtles, birds, a yellow lab, a dalmatian mix, and a mini poodle mix. I have two dogs, a 3 year old female American Staffordshire Terrier/Boxer/German Shepherd mix named Charlie who I love going hiking and running with, and a senior Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso mix named Paku. I graduated Mt. San Antonio College with an A.S. in Pet Science where I learned how to care for sheep, swine, horses, cattle, dogs, cats, reptiles, and avian species. My goal is to work in the pet care industry and to provide best care for all animals. I believe in Karen Pryor’s philosophy of positive reinforce

Daisy.... is like our family member... my dogs have the happiest moment with her everyday. Copper will meet you soon again and thanks for being so kind to animals....:-)
Thank you Daisy for staying with my family in 2017! Daisy is a person who can understand the animal friends and they just love her very much. She can calm them down and also can be very playful with them so she knows how to balance their lives together. My year 2017 was such a wonderful time to meet Daisy. Happy New Year and see you in 2018!
Thanks so much Daisy as always. :-)
Daisy continues to be an amazing person to work with. Thanks for always being so attentive to our babies!

Information Daisy K. would like to know about your pet
All breeds, sizes, and temperaments are welcome! Some general things I would like to know about your pet(s) you can tell me through a message or during our Meet-and-Greet: 1.) How much and how often does your pet eat? Do they like treats? Are they allergic to any foods and is there a specific food or treat that they eat? 2.) If your pet stays indoors for most of the day, how often and when do you want me take them out to potty? 3.) How do you reward good behavior and bad behavior? What commands do you normally use that they respond well to? 4.) How is your dog on a walk? Are they particularly fearful or reactive to certain things like other dogs or loud noises? Are they allergic to grass? 5.) What are your pets favorite toys or games?
A typical day
Depending on the energy level of your dog, I will do what is most comfortable for your dog. If your dog is an athlete or high energy, we will go on long walks, go cross country running together, or explore a local hiking trail. If your dog is a senior, has special needs, or is a low energy breed, then we will go on more relaxing walks and I will take the time to allow him/her to explore the neighborhood at his/her own pace. There is no dog I will not want to walk or play with! When we are not on walks, I will spend time playing with your dog and making sure he/she never feels bored. Behavior problems such as reactivity are not an issue. I will accommodate you the best I can.
