I grew up with dogs and cats of different sizes and was always obsessed with pet behaviour. Since owning a dog, I have read up even more on the subject. I know how worrisome it can be to leave your pet with someone new and equally how rewarding it can be to find someone you trust to look after them! Before Rover, I regularly pet sit my friends and family pets. Usually this was in the form of various dogs staying the night or being dropped off for a day however I also did cat and dog drop ins. I enjoyed doing so as my dog also benefits! I will treat your fur baby as I treat my own - that is to say give them the absolute best of care and attention. I have a 2 year old Boston Terrier who gets the best care alongside lots of love and attention. The priority is their comfort and health. As an added bonus I am happy for you to share any training priorities you have or behaviours you want reinforced.

Daisy helped me with my dog on numerous occasions and it has always been a pleasure. My dog was a recent rescue so slightly apprehensive and nervous meeting new people. Daisy’s compassionate and positive attitude put my dog at ease, and was very happy to stay in her home. Cannot recommend Daisy enough :-)
Daisy is am amazing pet sitter! She is very knowledgeable about dogs, and positive behavior methods. She has looked after my yorkie overnight and while I was on vacation a few times over the course of two years. She is always reliable, and I never worry about my pup when he is with her. One time I had a flight delay and she was super flexible. My dog loves her and her dog Sharka and they would play together and have a blast. Daisy is a wonderful person and pet sitter.
Daisy has watched my two dogs in the past and I can only say good things. She is so patient and affectionate and they still try to seek out her apartment building even though she has moved out of town. Her own dog is lovely-- well trained and communicates super well with her peers. Highly recommend, your dog will be in good hands with Daisy!

I will look after your pet as if they are my own! Of course the best care does differ by dog (some like cuddles, others are more into scratches). The foundation of this all is safety and I will stay in communication on this at all times. Lots of photo updates if you wish and if there are any worries, I am available to talk. This includes: - following your feeding schedule and boundaries for your pet - ensuring their medication and health needs are met - constant access to water and enrichment - time to decompress and one-on-one attention separate from Sharka as well - their/your sleeping preferences for them - grooming requirements - default of on leash walking - any other specific requirements I am also lucky enough to live across the street from some vets for any emergencies.

A typical day
Mental and physical enrichment! I live next to some lovely green spaces (Coldhams Common, Mill Road Cemetary, River Cam, Stourbridge Common, Jesus Green) where we can spend time outside (on the lead of course!) and go for short runs if needed. Indoors there are plenty of enrichment games to be had including various dog puzzles!
