Pet care experience
Since I was in middle school, I have done overnight and day petsitting for dogs, cats, turtles, and fish. I’ve also volunteered at an animal shelter and I loved being able to make the dogs and cats feel comfortable and well loved. Animals give us so much loyalty, affection, and happiness and I think it’s important that we fully reciprocate it. As a college student, it’s very hard for me to leave my pets every time the semester begins and I’m sure it’s hard for them too, so I would love the opportunity to make someone else’s pets feel safe and loved until their owner comes back. Thank you for considering me!

Dagny has cared for my plants, dogs and my house many times and I am always amazed at how dedicated she is. Dagny loves animals - she is kind, compassionate, and caring towards them. The pets respond to her in kind and are overjoyed when she is around and show their happiness by hanging out with her. She has taken care of dogs, cats, turtles, rabbits and many other small animals. Dagny has volunteered in animal shelters as well, taking dogs out for walks. She is very conscientious and honest.
Dagny is a huge animal lover- loves cats especially and has many herself. She effortlessly radiates sunshine energy and carries a compassionate heart towards animals. I wouldn’t ask for anyone better to petsit my pets.

I will make sure the door and gate is closed at all times, to take them on walks using a safe harness, be careful with outside temperatures when taking them out, ensure they’re drinking lots of water, and overall be in tune to their general needs. And of course, give them lots of love and attention.

Please inform me if the dog has any dietary restrictions, special needs, or certain tendencies that I have to watch out for (running out when the door opens, unfriendly with other dogs, etc).
A typical day
I love playing with dogs and taking them on walks/occasionally running with them to stretch their legs. If there’s a park near the house, I’ll take them there and throw a ball or their favorite toy for them to chase after.

Availability
I am currently out of school for winter break until mid-January, so I would be able to check on your pet multiple times a day or stay with them overnight. I return to college on Jan 20th, and I will be back from March 5-17 for spring break, as well as during the summer months, so I will be available then to pet sit!
