I grew up in a family of dog lovers. In addition to regularly attending local and national dog shows with our Leo’s, we also watched the televised events religiously. For my tenth birthday I asked for the Ultimate Encyclopedia of Dogs, Dog Breeds, and Dog Care — I read it cover to cover and it’s been my bible ever since. Even when I was very young I used to walk around my neighborhood scheduling play-dates with the neighbors dogs. Not kids, dogs. If that doesn’t prove I was destined for this job then nothing else will. Dogs were always a quintessential part of my family’s household, typically in pairs of 2 and 4. My sister was similarly inspired by our animal-friendly home and went on to become a Veterinary technician, dog trainer and animal behaviorist (I keep her on speed dial for all my pet-related questions and concerns). From experience I know that every dog is unique and I will go the extra mile to provide detail-oriented care for your four-legged family member. Each pet I care for will receive all the love and attention they deserve, in addition to meeting their basic needs. I am comfortable with every age and size -- even special needs and geriatric doggies. Most importantly, you (the owner) can go on your vacation or business trip with one less concern knowing that your pup is completely safe and happy in my care.
