I love all dogs and will be sure to take care for your dog(s) like they are my own. I was a teacher for 10 years and left after the 22-23 school year. I don’t have human children of my own, just my 4 legged child, Murphy, a 60 lb Goldendoodle. I had 3 dachshunds growing up, so it’s been so fun to learn about bigger dogs and rewarding getting to teach her new things. I love working with other dogs I’m watching on basic commands/tricks. I think it’s so amazing how smart these 4 legged animals are! I’ve taken care of senior dogs who need medicine everyday and have cared for many puppies. Puppy stage can be difficult, but it doesn’t last forever. Murphy is a trained therapy dog and I’d love to work on training/teaching your dog new things. Murphy and I have been to numerous puppy training classes. We went through all 12 weeks of Dog Gone Problems training and a course at Pups with a Purpose. Most recently we’ve been having a private trainer come to our house every 1-2 weeks to work on a variety of things, such as remaining calm when people approach us and how to appropriately greet other dogs and humans. :) I look forward to continuing to grow and learn with Murphy and am willing to use the training knowledge with your dogs.

I have a good sized, mostly flat, fenced-in backyard. Your dog(s) will have a large space to run and I go outside with them. I’m happy to send you pictures and videos of your dog while they are in my care. If for some reason there are dogs who do not get along, I will have play groups and/or individual times for all dogs to have time outside to do their business and play etc.

All dogs are different and I understand that they all communicate in different ways. Id like to know their routine at home and mimic that as much as possible at my house. If your dog is kenneled at home, they can be kenneled here and if they are left out of a kennel, they can be left out at my house. If your dog has any allergies please let me know. I’d like to know if they are potty trained, use a kennel or not, and how much to feed them. It can also be helpful to know if they have had any previous injuries.
A typical day
Dogs need to exercise their brains and bodies. This is why I like to use dog puzzles and snuffle mats, etc. when feeding and throughout the day, especially if we cannot go & stay outside due to weather. I can play fetch with your dog and do mini sessions of teaching basic commands. Some days we even go for pup cups ?

Availability
My routine is a dog friendly routine for sitting/boarding/doggy daycare. My #1 focus is on dog sitting/dog daycare/dog boarding/dog walking. I want to expand my business and watch/help all the dogs I can. My schedule is extremely flexible as I do not have a typical full-time job. If I do have to leave the house, I’m never gone for more than 4/5 hours at a time. Please keep me in mind for your dog sitting needs. My schedule is very flexible and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Even if you don’t need to board your dog for numerous days please reach out and try out daycare with us. :) On daycare days, I supervise, enhance play among the dogs, and encourage them to rest when they are tired. I also help dogs understand each other by having dogs take a break or time out if they are getting too rough. I will always be up front and communicate with you.
