Pet care experience
I have always had a big heart for dogs! I use to have a real fear of them when I was younger, and now I can't get enough! I have worked at a vet clinic for 3 years and a boarding facility (1 year), so I have had a lot of experince in caring for dogs and learning their mannerisms. I always make sure your pets are loved and cared for and give them the attention that they need. I will take them on their daily walks, play around with them, and spend as much time with them as I can. My passion have always been with dogs and I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies! In September 2021, one of my own fur babies crossed the rainbow bridge. She was a sweet 8 yr old pit mix and basically my child. Your pups and kitties help fill a little part of my heart that is missing and I appreciate them for that.❤

Dacey has watched my dog for a few times now while house sitting and she consistently does an incredible job! She has gained a repeat client from me :). She communicates well and sends me pictures and updates. She follows all of my care instructions and then some. She plays and cuddles with my dog, and my dog loves her. 😊
Dacey was excellent with our three difficult and annoying dogs during our little weekend getaway. We have a rescue that will nip and has high anxiety and Dacey was so patient with her and was able to figure out how to get her to go outside to go potty. I had mentioned that two of them eat poop and just asked Dacey to watch them while they were outside to be sure they didn't eat any, and she went above and beyond and cleaned up their poop after them, and she cleaned up some accidents that happened overnight as well. I'm highly nervous about leaving our 13 year old dog alone for long periods of time, and truly appreciated Dacey staying the majority of them time at our home with the dogs. Definitely recommend Dacey for your pet sitting needs!

When a dog is nervous, especially on the first time alone together, I always give them their space. I sit on the couch and wait for them to come to me. After the meeting I still move slow and, if allowed, I would give them treats to help them warm up. I am able to give meds if needed, as well.

A typical day
While watching dogs, I always try to start some game with them to get them stimulated. If that doesn't work, or they are not the playing type, I will lay with them and talk sweetly to them. I also like to do long walks with them whenever possible. And alow them to "smell the roses" in the neighborhood.
