Nanny Cindy's
Pet care experience
At Nanny Cindy's you provide the pet, I provide the love. My goal is to build lasting relationships with pups, and parents. When your pup comes to Nanny's house, I want them to feel like it's their home away from home. -Individualized pet care. - Prefer pups over 18 months old - 30 lb and under preferred - Year round reliability. - 46 years of experience -With parental permission pups are given a tablespoon of Nanny's homemade chicken and rice sprinkled on their kibble. -For new guests I prefer for you to drop off your pet early in the day, absolutely no later than 2pm. This allows your "family member/ pet" the opportunity to adjust and learn their way around my home ,and adjust to their new surroundings. It also allows me to take them for a walk, and spend some time with them before bed time. This is only for their first visit that I need them by 2pm. When you bring your pet to my house it is the equivalent of going to Grandma's house. In my case "Nanny Cindy's". I believe in lots of love, petting, scratching, snuggling and most importantly, walks for lots of sniffing, and exercise. My pet limit goes by seasonal demand. My goal is to give each one of my pet guests the love, and attention they deserve. I'm basically home all the time. When your special friend comes to visit "Nanny Cindy" they will be the center of my universe.
Reviews
Nanny Cindy is awesome! Our first time using Rover. We will request Nanny Cindy again.
This is at least our second or third time to have Cynthia keep Bella for us. Cynthia always makes Bella feel so welcome and is happy to see her. Bella seems to feel comfortable seeing Cynthia too. She send you pictures so you can see how you dog is doing. We love using Cynthia and will definalty be using her again in the future!
Cynthia does an amazing job taking care of our older dog Dusty. She takes great care with his feeding and medication, gives him plenty of walks, and gives us lots of updates! I always know Dusty is in good hands when he stays with her.
Cynthia loves animals! She took loving care of my 17 year old, blind, deaf chihuahua. He seemed completely unbothered by the group boarding setting, as all of the other pups were so sweet and well-behaved. This was my first experience with Rover and Cynthia's care of my dog blew me away.

Information Cynthia Y. would like to know about your pet
It is most helpful if pup parents give a detailed profile for their pups which can be filled out in the Rover app. I need to know what makes them happy, what they are scared of, if they have ever escaped, if they have any injuries so I can give special care. Please be very specific about feeding instructions. Including a measuring cup inside their bag of kibble is also helpful.
A typical day
I try and keep my guests stimulated with toys, balls, clean backyard to sniff and explore to their hearts content. In addition there are wonderful walking routes in my Barton Hills neighborhood.

Here is my schedule. Breakfast 7am - With parental permission pups are given a tablespoon of Nanny's homemade chicken and rice sprinkled on their kibble. Walks - I have two different walking routes, one with hills, and for seniors. My home overlooks the Barton Creek so we have beautiful views and exceptional routes for walking. I work in my upholstery shop which is attached to the kitchen. My doggy guest usually hang out in the den/ kitchen and enjoy watching me work while they lounge. LOL Since I work from home there is always time for lots of potty breaks, and sniffing. When the weather is nice I keep the sliding glass door partially open so dogs can freely roam inside and out. Noon -Treat time - we play in the back yard where treats are given 2-4pm Quiet time with Nanny in living room where everyone gets a turn on Nanny's lap for love and petting 5pm -Dinner time-With parental permission pups are given a tablespoon of Nanny's homemade chicken and rice sprinkled on their kibble. Bedtime is where ever they like. I have beds with clean fleece blankets in my bedroom, and living room. If your pup would like to sleep in my bed, with Chip, Dale and I, they are most welcome.
