Pet care experience
Here is a little bit of my pet care history: Growing up we had a dog and 2 cats(& hamsters & a hermit crab) and when I got older I had a pup of my own who was a rescue. She sadly passed away almost a year ago due to old age. For someone who has always had pets and is a animal lover, it definitely felt like something was missing in our home. Which is why I find Rover incredibly therapeutic and fun. Although I think my days of owning a pet is over, I find joy in treating yours as my own, giving them all the love & joy that they give me.

Thank you for picking up and dogsitting my babies! I appreciate your care and paw-gress report ?
This was my first time trying Rover & I’m extremely pleased?. Cynthia took the time to come & meet Blue and he loved her from the start. That made me very at ease because I was leaving the country for 9 days & he's never been left alone or with other ppl. She followed all instructions given & sent a video of him after each visit. He was his normal self & displayed no signs of anxiety ??. I will definitely be using Cynthia again for ALL upcoming vacations. ❤️
Cynthia did a great job with my ShihPoo. I would definitely use her again!
I had the best experience with Cynthia!! I booked her a few weeks before my vacation and she immediately set up an appointment to meet Milo beforehand so he can get used to her and her husband. They both came to meet Milo at home and they just sat and played with him so he could familiarize with them. Cynthia walked Milo to make sure she could handle him because he is such a big dog. They came to pick him up on the day of our trip and he left very happy. Cynthia sent me pics on a daily basis and gave us a brief of how was Milo doing, if he ate or didn't, if he pooped or didn't. It was an overall very good experience. Just knowing your baby is in good hands! When we picked him up he was happy and healthy!! Thank you Cynthia you guys did a great job!!!! I will totally leave him again in your hands should I need to!! Milo sends his love and high paw!!

We keep our home tidy. But pets will always find something to eat. So a few hours before boarding I do a precautionary cleaning to make sure nothing harmful is in your pet's path. This habit of mine protects my peace of mind that your dog will be safe. Your pet is free to roam around my home under supervision. In the evenings the pup/kitty will sleep in our room so we can be sure they are not getting into things that they shouldn't. & my husband and I work as team to care for your pet. So that is an extra pair of eyes to look after them! In the owner's home, the pet is free to do exactly as the owner wishes.

Information Cynthia T. would like to know about your pet
It's important to know what the pet's energy level is. Do they have any special needs that should be taken into consideration - such as medications that need to be taken. Any behavioral things I should watch out for. For example (mostly applies for dogs): How do they feel around men? Is your dog territorial, do they bark/growl/lunge at anyone who tries to enter the home? Are they afraid of loud noises? (I live in a loud building) Is there anything that your pet does not like? Any information that would ensure your pet has an enjoyable time is good for me to know.
A typical day
When boarding dogs: I take into consideration the pup's energy level. We love going on walks through the park that is 2 minutes from my home which has a dog park that I can go to IF the owner is comfortable. For both pups & kitties: Feel free to bring their favorite toys and let me know what tricks they know so that they can expend some energy indoors. For drop in visits: The owner would let me know what they need from me. Which usually includes feeding, and walking. The owner can also leave some treats available for me to give the pup/kitty (along with some belly rubs) before I leave.

Availability
I enjoy spending time outdoors and getting some fresh air, so I would love to have your pup tag along! On Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays we both have to be out of the house for about 2 hours each of those days. So your pet would need to be okay with being alone for a short period of time.
