Pet care experience
Lifetime dog fan! All breeds are totally welcome! Your pup/s will enjoy lounging on couches, playing in fenced yard, walks in the neighborhood, & personalized attention. We like to go to Harrison State Park and hike with dogs there as often as possible. I work from home so they'll get plenty of care and supervision. Flexible drop off and pick up times are available. Our family has a lovable 3 yr. old dog Staffordshire/Border Collie rescue who ls very lovable and sociable. We also have two cats and a bearded dragon (lizard). A meet & greet prior to the stay is best. We want to provide the best care possible so please let me know what they like, their quirks, their sense of humor, favorite games or treats, etc... I'll send you photos/video daily of your fur baby's vacation while you're away! A typical day starts with breakfast, outdoor time in yard, and play time in the house. By about 9 am, I like to take the first walk in the neighborhood. There're plenty of sidewalks and open, grassy areas. With your permission, I'm also open to taking your pup to a local park. Sometimes the morning walk is delayed until lunchtime because of weather, especially in winter, when temperatures are in the teens or below. I don't charge extra for walks because it's so important to a dog's health. It's also a great opportunity to bond with your dog/s. After the walk and early activities, we usually have a snack and relax for a little while. If your dog is young, then he/she will likely want to keep on playing-- no problem-- we have lots of toys. If your dog is older or just more mellow, then some down time is appreciated and we can make sure he/she has a comfortable, cozy personal space on a couch or bed. I have lots of pet blankets. Late afternoon/ evening: More outdoor time, play time and/or another walk so they feel more ready for bedtime later. Of course, dinner or snack according to your instructions. I have a pretty flexible drop off time and pick up time (about 6:30 am - 8 pm), but it's really, really helpful if we plan approximate times in advance. This way your dog will be ready to go when you arrive. In the past, I used rover.com sitters too. One of the things that I wished I could find as a customer was help getting my dog to the sitter's house (especially before work) and sometimes picking him up later in the day/ next day. I could possibly provide some help with this depending on your location and your pup's travel needs

I can’t say enough good about Cynthia. She is so wonderful to Gus. He loves spending time with her and all all the friends he has met. Whether it be the dog park running and swimming or having a sleep over with her. If I mention her name he is at the door jumping and crying and ready not go see her. I’m very luck I found her and can trust Gus is always so well taken care of.🐶
Lexie had a wonderful time yesterday! Thanks so much for your help and flexibility!
Cynthia was amazing. She took my puppy to the park every day, gave her her own bed to sleep in, and constantly sent pictures!! Will definitely use Cynthia again!
Cynthia was outstanding. She walked them every day. She also took them to stores in sweaters to stay warm and to get socialization. I think they will miss her more than me while I was gone. You will be very pleased to have her watch your dogs. She also sent pix at least two times a day.
