Cynthia is a great example of how someone could be "overqualified" as an animal caregiver. She has been working at the S.P.C.A. of Philadelphia since October 2015. She started off as a behavior intern there, learning how to read the animals' behavior and how to safely approach and interact with them, especially those with behavioral issues -- an essential trait for any dog sitter. She then began working full-time as a kennel attendant and was thus interacting with the dogs on a near daily basis, and now works as an adoptions counselor. I have seen firsthand her affinity for the dogs she has cared for, and she is a hardworking individual. She is also wonderful with cats, too, having grown up with several cats of her own.
