Pet care experience
As a child, I remember we always had pets. I grew up with a love for animals. I am now in my fifties and training to be a Vet Tech. I will graduate with an Associate of Science Degree from the IBC Vet Institute in Indianapolis in April 2024. My goal is to open my own boarding/grooming business. I'm excited to embark on this path and look forward to sharing cuddles and snuggles with new furry friends.

I live in the small quaint town of Russiaville, IN. I'm a dog mom to a 2-year-old female lab mix named Ali. We have a large fenced-in area where your pets can roam safely and access to a heated garage for more play and social interaction with my furbaby. They would also have access to the house to hang out with us throughout the day. Our 16 y.o. is a cat mom, but loves all animals, we are new to Rover, but my desire after graduating school is to open my own pet boarding / grooming business.

Please inform me of special needs ie...medications, diet, or physical limitations, as a veterinary tech student I'm trained in first aid care, if needed. I would like to know pets favorite things toys,or treats, and what makes them feel comfortable, safe. In overnight care events we would coordinate drop-off and pickup times accordingly.
A typical day
It's my belief pets need stimulation, to keep them from boredom and, being stressed. I would engage playful activities, lots of exercise inside our protected yard, or nearby parks that offer miles of safe walking and exploring opportunities.

Availability
I'm a vet tech student and will be graduating in April of this year. I'm not at home during the day, so right now my availability is limited to weekends only for overnights. I'm more flexible on drop in's / dog walking.
