Pets' favorite home away from home.

Pet care experience

I've taken in stray dogs and cats for more than 25 years. Whether they are young, old, need meds, or missing a leg, I've cared for them all. However, I'm terrible at fostering pets because I always want to adopt them myself.

Cynthia is a dream! She always send us lots of videos and photos of Luna and Luna always seems like she’s having a blast. Cynthia was extremely flexible with our schedule and was able to accommodate us. We hope Cynthia is always available whenever we are away because we know Luna will be in excellent hands!

She was just the best, providing me constant updates and taking my dog to the dog park and on walks.

Cynthia is very easy to work with and was very flexible with some changes we had. I look forward to using her again and have already booked another date.

Long walks and trips to the dog park are just as much for the dogs as they are for me. I have a large (for DC standards) fenced in back yard with sunny and shady areas for dogs to run and play. When it is time to come in, they can relax on the sofa or on one of the dog beds.

Information Cynthia H. would like to know about your pet

Please update your pet's profile with feeding your pet's feed routine, any medicine that needs to be administered, or if your dog has separation anxiety. It is important to know what triggers your dog, such as loud noises, motorcycles, other dogs on a leash, squirrels, etc.

A typical day

I work from home with a very flexible schedule. However, I do try to keep a routine for pets. Mornings are a quick relief outside before their breakfast, followed by a walk after my breakfast. Next on the agenda is a trip to the dog park for socializing and more fun or a long 2-3 mile walk. Once home, an afternoon snack are on the menu, before resting. Later a quick walk before dinner, and a backyard visit before bed. Since no two dogs are the same, Crisco and I can adjust to fit your needs.
