Pet care experience
In 2022 I left my long career as a Veterinary Technician to care for pets in my home. I now do it full time, and love every second of it! Our home is completely pet friendly, with 4 separate fenced yards if dogs prefer to play alone. There is always someone home, and all pets are supervised 24/7. All pets spend time with the family, and enjoy comfortable, roomy accomodations! We feed owner provided food, and am happy to accommodate your pet's feeding schedule. Several daily playgroups are available for pets who enjoy friends! I have experience with all types of dogs, ages, special needs, and medical needs. Having worked in hospitals and boarding facilities throughout my career, I follow the same cleaning and sanitation protocols. I would love to put my years of experience to service for you and your pet!

After several failed boarding attempt with my own dogs, I wanted to create an environment that was a step above your traditional boarding kennel. Dogs spend time with the family and we adjust according to their needs so they are comfortable and well cared for. I have two friendly dogs, three fenced in outdoor areas, and plenty of indoor space for your pet to enjoy with our family. I am home with my dogs all day. Yours will be no exception! Your pet will get love around the clock and will be well cared for and constantly monitored. Water is available around the clock, feeding according to your schedule, and medication as needed. I only run errands when my husband or 18 year old son is at the house, so there is always a family member home with your pet. Your pet will have multiple play sessions throughout the day, and enjoy roomy accommodations. Ideally, we try to have our guests inside with us all the time. However, we understand some pets prefer their own space! Crating is available upon request, however we provide monitored, indoor 4' x 8' runs for the dogs to relax in when they aren't playing or getting cuddles in the house if you would prefer. Every run has a comfy cot, toys and water, and we have a TV playing doggy friendly TV that is on whenever the pups get ready for bed.

A typical day
Dogs staying with me can expect a lot of one on one and group play time if appropriate. Several group plays are provided daily for friendly dogs with my two very sweet and socialized Berners, and all dogs will have multiple potty breaks a day. All pets will have access at all times to a temperature controlled area. We rotate everyone to provide lots of time with the family for everyone! Myself, my husband, and our 18 year old all love dogs and take an all hands on deck approach. This had created lasting relationship and trust with our guests and their owners.

Availability
Thank you for considering our home as your pet’s vacation spot. In order to keep all pets safe and happy during their stay, we have a few simple booking policies to keep in mind: Pick-up and drop-off times must be scheduled in advance. This helps makes sure all of your pup’s stuff is ready to go when you arrive. Arrivals before 7:00am and after 7:00 pm are not permitted. Mornings and evenings are busy with walks and feedings, and we want to make sure your drop-off and pick-up is not rushed. Late arrivals of more than 30 minutes will need to be rescheduled in the Rover app. I generally can accommodate changes in travel plans, so please let me know when plans change. Please arrive with your pets on a leash and keep them leashed when not in our fenced yard. We are strong advocates for the county’s leash laws. Our home is a “closed boarding facility”. This means no uninsured dogs or humans that do not live/work on the premises will interact with your dog. Unfortunately, this also means the inside of our home is not open for meet and greets while boarding clients are present. Most importantly, it is our policy that all pets and humans are treated with love and respect during their stay.
