I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I helped my mother and aunt run the day to day operations at the dog rescue they ran for several years. I have 3 dogs of my own who are my children. Pets bring me joy! What’s better than making money doing what brings you joy? I have been a nanny for the last 7 years. Several of the families I’ve worked for have had dogs and I took care of them along with the children. I’d help with walks, pee breaks, feeding, and snuggling on the couch while the kids were napping :) Large dogs don’t make me nervous. I have a 75lb German Shepherd mix! I’ve worked with dogs with all temperaments. Dogs really respond to me! There have been so many times that I’ve walked into somebody’s house and started petting their dog, only to be told that their dog doesn’t usually like strangers. I really believe that a dog make a house into a home!
