Pet care experience
I have the time, space, love and pet experience to care for your pet when you are unable to! I’ve been dog and cat sitting since elementary school, and have experience with smaller mammals as well (hamsters, gerbils, rabbits). I’ve cared for reptiles and aquatic creatures too. I’ve looked after and boarded multiple pets and for extended periods. House visits, walks, limited grooming/baths, boarding and pet transportation. If given enough notice I can take your pet to his/her routine vet or grooming appointment or your dog to a dog park. My neighbors, friends, and family trust me to watch after their pets.

We have a fenced yard and are within 25ft of two of our neighborhood pet relief areas for regular “let outs”. I have a senior Maltese mix who stays crated much of the time. He’s 15, blind, deaf, and usually napping. I also have a playful dog who is crate trained. She is 50lbs. We have a Jack Russel terrier puppy as well. Our pets will be welcome to play together or stay separate if that’s what you need/prefer or is safest. I can crate your dog if needed. I have a medium and extra large crate. I will try to match your relief and grooming routine as closely as possible (at your place or mine) and can send your dog(s) home bathed if you would like. Your pet is welcome to roam if house trained. I will also send you pictures of your pet while he/she is in my care.

A typical day
We’ll play, go on walks etc. Your pet will get plenty of attention. If I leave while they’re in my care I’ll make sure they’ll be safe.

Availability
I work just a few miles from home so I have some flexibility to ensure I can meet your needs. I’m available for boarding most evenings and most weekends. I am in the National Guard so some weekends I will be working and unavailable for most services.
