Pet care experience
We have just lost our awesome dog of 13 years and are looking to love on your dog while we wait to be ready to adopt another. We have a fenced side yard if your dog needs an enclosed space. We also have a nice long yard for running and sunning. Our living area is tiled with leather furniture for dog-friendly easy cleanup. I’m home all day and looking forward to some puppy companionship! I do have 4 kids ages 7-13 that act appropriately around dogs, but we’re not a good fit for you if you’re not sure your dog likes kids. We live near a dog park that we could visit during the day. We would love to help you know your pup is happy and safe while you are gone!

Cyndi and her family took great care of our dog while we were gone for over a week. Our dog is very spoiled at home and has a lot of personality and they made sure he felt at home with them. We were so thankful to know he was in good hands while we were away. Cyndi sent a daily update with a picture or two each day to let us know all was well. We will definitely be using her again in the future.
Cyndi and her family were great taking care of Bagel. They have a nice big yard where she was able to run around. Cyndi's kids were very sweet with Bagel and took good care of her. They even went the extra mile to take her on a hike, which tired her out amazingly! Thank you!
Cyndi and her family were simply fantastic with our new-to-us boxer pup of 9 months. Canela was recently spayed and unfortunately had to continue wearing her protective cone collar for the week she was with Cyndi. She also needed meds at both breakfast and dinner. For an energetic pup, I was nervous she’d be too much of a handful, particularly with her post-surgical exercise limitations. But Cyndi and her family were champs. Canela quickly felt at home, and I got multiple updates through the day. I was relieved, and it helped me enjoy my vacation even more. I’ll definitely reach back out to Cyndi when she’s available again.
Cyndi and her family took great care of our dog Peppa. Cyndi was responsive, communicated well, and provided a safe and fun environment for our dog. We really appreciated that Peppa was allowed to sit on the furniture and allowed to sleep with humans at night, as this is what our dog is used to at home. The process from booking, viewing Cyndi's home, drop-off/pickup was all seamless.

We really enjoy getting to know dogs of all sizes and personalities. We do need a dog that enjoys the bustle of an active home and a lot of attention and affection. Before you leave the dog we can discuss eating, drinking, sleeping, and exercise habits. I also like to know preferences for where to contain the dog when she is home alone, anxiety triggers and any safety concerns, and any other quirks you want us to be aware of. The more details the better so we can meet our goal of keeping your pup happy and healthy while you are traveling.
A typical day
In our Rover experience so far, dogs leave very loved and very tired! We can take frequent walks around the neighborhood or head over to the hills for some time on trails. If your dog knows tricks she will get plenty of time to practice them to the delight of the kids. In her downtime your pup will have plenty of snuggles and rubs!
