Pet care experience
I am a costume designer and visual artist who moved to Philadelphia from Connecticut. I grew up taking care of a houseful of cats (3 and then there were kittens!) and have been taking care of my friend's pets ever since. While in grad school I spent a lot of time with a sweet German Shepherd, Alvin, my friend got as a puppy, then there was the 3-legged Chihuahua, Elphie, that my roommate had in Austin,TX who I took care of when she was out of town for weeks at a time. While housesitting in Chicago I took care of my friend's very old and ailing cat as well as a very active Boston terrier. I have friends in New York that have two very cute cats (see pictures) who I take care of in exchange for a place to stay when I am up there working on projects, seeing shows or visiting galleries. I have now been with Rover since 2019 and have pet sat in East Falls, Germantown, Mt. Airy, Passyunk, Fairmount, and Old Richmond for friends and new Rover connections. I really enjoying meeting every new pet!

Cybele did a fantastic job house sitting for me and takig care of my cats. They enjoyed lounging about on her belongings and she was totally cool with that. I swear my place was in better shape than I left it. Cybele is thoughtful and thorough when it comes to pet care, and was kind to send me frequent updates of my cats sitting around. She is a bright, trustworthy person who took excellent care of my cats and my home. I would absolutely hire her again (and will be doing so next weekend)! Thanks, Cybele!

I only have the highest praise of Cybele. Communicating with her was super easy, and she was 100% reliable. Cybele pet/house sit for a few days while we were out of town. I felt confident leaving with her caring for the pets and house. She sent messages with updates and photos of the pets, letting me know that all was well. Next time we need a pet/house sitter, I will check her availability first.
Cybele is the perfect pet sitter!!!! She took amazing care of my cat. I was thrilled to come back home to a very happy cat ☺️ I could not have found a better fit!

A typical day
Lots of love, cuddling, walking, playing with toys, balls or what ever is their favorite! If I am doing daily visits for your cat, I will empty the litter and sweep, if necessary. If I am staying over night for more than a day, I will empty the litter, make sure to sweep, vacuum or dustbuster the house before I leave. I also make sure counters are clean and everything is straightened.
