Energetic Friend of All Dogs
Pet care experience
My dog care experience is highlighted by caring for my own dog, roommate's dog, and dogs of friends/family that are out of town. All dogs come from different backgrounds and have different tendencies, but I find that my clear, confident, and caring communication style as well as willingness to play with the dogs always allows us to be the best of friends. I appreciate that dogs are used to routine and attempt to maintain their routine and comfort as best as possible. When watching dogs, I like to take them to nearby parks and tennis courts to play and get lots of exercise. My dog is a very active guy, so we go on lots of walks and spend plenty of time playing frisbee and fetch to tire him out. He'd be happy to have some friends to play with, especially on weekends to go on hikes. We generally go on long walks in the morning, lunch time, and right after work. Depending on a dogs energy level, I'm happy to take them on walks as often as necessary. Looking forward to making a new friend and helping out with your dog care needs!

Excellent
Best dog sitter ever !!!!
Curt's quickly become my go to for dog sitting and walking services in Richmond! Lucky to have found him so early on in my relocation!
It was our first Rover experience and Curt was very patient with all our questions and flexible. He took very good care of our dog and sent pictures of him on little adventures and snuggling with his sweet dog. We will definitely come to Curt next time we need dog care. Our dog probably prefers him to us now.

Information Curt T. would like to know about your pet
I'd like to know the normal routine of the dog and any special habits. It is important to know how the dog reacts to new and different situations. I'd like to know how the dog is on walks with a leash and if the dog is friendly when meeting other pets on the street. I'd want to know how the dog is with other dogs, including with groups of other dogs, as well as with people. Any recommendations on how to make their dog feel comfortable would also be important to know. I'd also ask what types of activities or things that I should not do with the dog. I don't have any breed preferences and have watched all types of dogs. Additional things to let me know prior to caring for your dog: 1. Type and Amount of food that your dog(s) get when feeding 2. Any type of food allergies or things that the dog shouldn't have 3. Bring your dog's crate if necessary and advise me on their crate routine 4. Let me know how the dog is when left alone, whether they should be crated or left free to room 5. If sitting at your home, any specific rules regarding play and if the dog can get on furniture, etc. 6. Any medication that needs to be provided 7. The name of your preferred vet or emergency vet
A typical day
I like to go on walks with my dog and any dogs that I'm sitting in nearby parks, wherever the neighborhood may be. We love playing frisbee and fetch with dogs and will bring the lacrosse stick to get extra distance at times. Our favorite activity is playing street hockey at our neighborhood tennis court, dogs seem to love it! Weekend hikes and swims are a norm in our house too, weather permitting.
