Pet care experience
I have been a reliable, loving & fun pet caretaker for over 20 years, with experience in pet sitting, dog walking, agility and fostering. I have raised and nurtured many dogs of my own from puppyhood, as well as midlife and senior dog rescue. I have a lot of experience with both timid/shy and high energy dogs. I believe in meeting dogs where they are at and not asking more from them than they can give in the moment. Each dog has its own individual personality. I value honoring that personality, not putting them in any situations that clashes with their personality. I gain their trust with kindness, consistency, patience and confidence, showing them they are safe with me. I love dogs, they are without a doubt my most favorite creature on the planet. While your loved on is in my care, I will give them lots of love in the manner they are most comfortable with, the appropriate amount of enriching exercise for their needs and most importantly keep them safe. They were amazing! They watched my dog, Tucker for a few days and sent me photos of how he was doing and how amazing he’s been. Tucker was happy to see me, but I could tell he liked being there with their dogs as well. 10/10!
Curran watched our Siberian husky tanka for a full week. We got daily updates on how well he was doing with pictures and videos which helped ease our mind about leaving him behind while we went on vacation. He had such a blast with her, he was calm and kept active with her and her own pack of dogs. She is very experienced with all breeds of dog, but specifically with working dogs which takes great skill. We trust her to watch our dogs any time we need to leave town. Shes an excellent attentive caregiver who truly loves the canine crowd. Highly recommend.

We have five acres with a fenced yard area as well as hiking trails to explore. We have three dogs; Tri (15) border collie, Toby (15) border collie x ACD, Nos (8) ACD & one cat, Nuisance (19) all who have experience with houseguests. It is paramount that our animals get on well and my top priority is to pay close attention to their interactions to assure any behavior that needs correcting is addressed right away. I can accommodate a kennel in the house if that is where your dog feels most comfortable or they can lounge on one of our many plush dog beds, unless of course they prefer to cuddle on the couch cause that’s okay with us too! Because I am a stay at home dog mom, my attention will be devoted to your loved while in my care.

Before we confirm our first booking together I will request to have a quick chat over the phone so that I may share with you the quirks of my own boy dogs and you may share with me the quirks of yours, as we’ve all got em’ and quirks keep life interesting ?, lol. After our chat we can determine together if we’ll be a good fit for the care of your loved one while your away.
A typical day
We live on five acres backing to BLM with lots of forest trails to explore. I also take daily trips to either Jacksonville or Cantrell Buckley park to walk my senior dogs as we live on a hilltop and the senior dogs need more flat ground to explore these days. Our walks consist of them getting lots and lots of good smells in, taking our time so they don’t miss a single sniff. And I combine the walk with ball time for the younger dogs so they may get adequate exercise in. We have a large basket full of dog toys available for house play as well.

Availability
I am a stay at home dog mom, so I am available to spend my entire day with your dog, providing fun, enriching activities if that’s what they need or if they are a senior or have more of a chill vibe, I will be fully available to hang out with them the entire time you are away. I will take them for walks daily, letting them get lots of good smells in. And for dogs that need a lot of play time, I am sure to accommodate with rousing games of fetch or chase.
