I have spent my conscious life facinated with “all the creatures great and small”! I found very young that we, humans are called the “highest species” yet we know not the grace of a K9, the levels of curiosity of a Feline, the intuition of a rabbit to know when to run or not, or the fearlessness of the Great Cockroach all Texans have been threatened by; they, but an inch or 2 of size. I feel strongly about every creature I am allowed to befriend and/or merely observe for moments of their life, and know something is always watching me looking for them; that makes my heart smile and feel a part of creation- something bigger than me. I am thankful for the Great Creators creativity, wonder, and giving me such compassion for “all creatures great and small”.
