Hi my name is Crystal. I've been around dogs all my life. All shapes and sizes. I grew up on a farm where we had a variety of animals. We had cattle, horses, couple sheep, couple goats, a number of cats and rabbits and always a dog. I grew up with a German Shepard, a Rottweiler, a Doberman and my mom bred Jack Russell Terriers. In my family our pets are our family. I just recently had to put my Peanut down. I can't bring myself to remove her from my page yet. She was my baby. She had a full 14 years. Deaf for all of them, lost one eye six years ago to glaucoma and then lost vision in the remaining eye a year ago. Then the remaining eye had to be removed in April 2018 due to pressure spikes. In October 2018 I moved back to my hometown of Rockton, IL after living in Madison, WI for 16 years. The move proved to be too difficult for Peanut and it wasn't fair to her so I had to make a heart breaking decision. I will forever miss her. After having two dogs for the last seven years I've decided that I'm kind of a two dog minimum kind of person. Lol! So I adopted my newest one, Carol. She's been so much fun! Been awhile since I've had a puppy so that's been exciting. J and her play and nap all day. They're too funny! I just moved to the Knoxville area. Looking forward to exploring a new city and meeting new people and their fur babies! I have no problem taking care of pets with special needs. I also like to run so I would enjoy a running pal!
