Pet care experience
I have a lifelong love of animals, and a real soft spot for those who don't do well in traditional kennels. I've owned six cats and 5 dogs over my lifetime and have ample experience caring for other people's pets. I have significant experience with large, medium, and small breeds, as well as dogs with fear aggression (a very nervous English Mastiff). I've also owned a Lab mix, German Shepherd, Border Collie, and mutt -- a wide variety of temperaments! I no longer have dogs of my own, but I'm a proud auntie to a special needs dog with spina bifida (wheelchair bound) and have supported dogs with age-related blindness, incontinence, and weakness. I miss having my own sidekick and probably will again one day, but in the meantime I'd love to take care of yours. :)

This is the third time I've left my dog with Crystal. She is excellent - my dog is happy and well cared for. He's very excited to see Crystal, and that tells me all I need to know.
Crystal kept in touch with us and provided photos throughout the stay. The house was very clean when we got home (something that is greatly appreciated after a lengthy journey). She also had some flexibility as our return flights were delayed by 4 hours. We would definitely consider using her services in the future.
Crystal is an outstanding dog sitter. She provided exceptional care for my dog. I could see by the regular photo updates she sent that he was being well cared for – lots of walks and plenty of pampering. I will be using her services again soon.
Crystal was absolutely amazing and our Reese, Rubi, and River were in wonderful hands! Crystal is communicative, asks questions and sends numerous updates and photos/videos. She made us feel 100% secure leaving our three dogs, and was completely understanding and tuned into each of their individual and unique needs. She was wonderful with our senior chihuahua mix with some special health needs, our feisty three-year old German Shepard mix, and our very very anxious senior Olde English mix. She made the time to come out and meet them before booking and make sure we were all comfortable. She is super flexible and left our home immaculate. We hope to have her watch our furbabies again soon! Thanks Crystal 🙂

I live alone in a one story house and provide care here or in your home. Your rules are my rules wherever we are, but if its my place, I'm ok with dogs on the furniture and am happy for their company in whatever room I'm in. If its overnights at your place I'll need an internet connection if you'd like me to be there during the workday as well. My company is very pet friendly and welcomes furry heads popping into our meetings!

I want to be consistent with your house rules, so please share those and we will stick to them while you're away. A written schedule for food and walks and bathroom breaks is appreciated for puppies!
A typical day
There is an off-leash dog park very close to my home. I have some skills puzzles that I used with my border collie to keep him busy that some dogs like. I love to freeze treats in ice for the pups in summer. I have endless strings and balls and hiding spots for cats.

I work full-time from home with significant flexibility in my schedule. My kids are grown, so I have lots of time to give to my furry charges.
