A Dog's Den Petcare, LLC

Pet care experience

I have always had pets in my life and loved and cared for everything from small rodents up to horses and cows. I have handled medical treatments and first aid on many animals and have worked closely with my vet often acting as an assistant for medical calls. I am comfortable with all ages of animals and can provide separate space in my home if needed. I am insured. I am a stay at home mom and home most of the time to care for my family and pets. Your pets are a priority and become part of our family while they are here! I am also willing to accommodate caged pets, (mice, rats, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits, snakes, bearded dragons, etc.) We have a VERY large fenced in yard and our dog Monroe loves everyone, however, not all dogs love his intense energy. We have crates available when needed. I have always been the trusted dog sitter for my friends and family when they are vacationing. I look forward to making your pet feel at home with us and giving them tons of love and cuddles.

Cannot recommend Crystal highly enough! I had my 11 month old pup stay with Crystal and her family for a week while I was out of town on vacation. Crystal kept me updated on how Boo was doing, and sent along photos and videos of Boo which I really appreciated. Boo had a blast staying there, and made quick friends with Crystal's dog, Monroe. Would be more than happy to have Boo stay with Crystal again, and Boo may actually prefer that so she can run around in that huge backyard!

I felt really comfortable leaving my pit mix, Axel, with Crystal and her family for a few days while I went to Florida. Not only was Axel treated like a member of family Crystal took the time to get to know my dog and his quirks by asking me thorough questions (he doesn’t like to petted after 7). He got plenty of hard time and enjoyed playing with Monroe. The only negative is that I am pretty sure Axel didn’t want to leave.

I have known Crystal for years and she has always been an animal advocate both with horses and dogs. She has fostered and adopted and now has decided to become a pet sitter which I think is an excellent idea and I know she will be very good at it. She has watched my fur baby when I am unable to and will be watching him again when I go in for some outpatient surgery and have to be quite for a few days. My dog loves to go over there and have a play date with her dog Monroe and they have been doing that since Monroe was a puppy. I think anyone hiring her should feel completely confident that their dog will be in the best hands.

Information Crystal M. would like to know about your pet

I like to know if a dog has any special needs, medical issues or medications. I also like to know if they have an triggers or aggressions that are an issue. If the dog has any special cues, signals or routines that should be followed. Our kids are extremely respectful of dogs but the dog must be comfortable around kids.

A typical day

We always get up in the morning and play in the yard while breakfast is made. Dogs come in and eat their breakfast(I always feed separately to prevent any chance of food reactions/aggression). After breakfast we have a mid morning play session and throw balls and frisbees in the yard. Naps of course are much needed, whether on the couch or in one of our many beds. Later we have supervised indoor play time with our abundance of soft toys, squeaky toys, kong toys and more. I try to stimulate and engage their brains. The evening includes dinner and more outdoor play and evening cuddles and tv before getting tucked into bed.
