I love being around pups because they are loyal, have so much personality and are all-around amazing companions. Plus, they add plenty of spice and excitement to everyday life. I have two Dachshunds of my own as well as two kittens -- we’re one happy, furry family! I frequently home sit for a client and she has been very happy with how her pup is with my pups and how happy her dog is while she’s away. I also have done rescue out of my home for more than eight years and I’ve also been a horse trainer for over 20 years. Animals are my life! I have patience and understanding when it comes to people’s pets: I recently had a rescue pitbull I tended to, who was actually a timid dog due to its circumstances, but I spent plenty of time showing the dog I wasn’t going to hurt them and before long we were buds! When it comes to caring for pups, I don’t have any breed restrictions -- I’m more interested in enjoying the company of different types of dogs because their happy souls always brighten my day! Outside of dogs, I have experience with other animals including, guinea pigs, ferrets, iguanas, cats, horses, cows, pigs, birds, fish -- I even once had a pet squirrel! I’ve had the most experience with dogs and horses -- I have cared for more than 50 horses at a time. I understand that every animal needs their own exercise routine and I’m happy to take your pup out for a stroll, play ball in the yard or just hang out and cuddle. No matter what we do, owners can be assured that they will be updated on their dogs stay with plenty of pics!
