Pet care experience
I’ve professionally worked for a veterinary hospital since 2018. I work during the late overnight hours as a vet tech in an ER. I have been personally house sitting pets since 2020. I’ve also previously worked for a dog groomer with boarding services as well. I have lots of experience working with dogs and cats in boarding and providing tender loving care for all pets under my supervision. I also believe in providing my service in your home at an affordable rate since I know boarding can get expensive and stressful for pets to be away from home. I’ve administered medications for cats and dogs (pills/ liquids, injections under the skin) and fed meals accordingly. I have a sweet handsome dog of my own as well who is a 2018 model about 70 pounds and full of playful energy. I’ve completed a couple obedience courses with him since he was a puppy. I’ve cared for animals of all sizes. I can’t wait to meet you and your pet(s)!

Crystal is a wonderful person you can trust to care for your pets and home. She has been house sitting my dog for me and always has the place in better condition than before. She stays the whole time so she’s able to cater to my dog or any house duties at any time. And I feel more at ease knowing she has experience in an animal hospital.

I always follow direction and will care for your pets in your home exactly how you ask. If they are allowed on furniture/beds I would love to cuddle with them and make them feel as though they are my own pets!

If there’s anything I really need to know then I’m sure I’ll be informed or I’ll ask about concerns, but otherwise I don’t feel like I need to know much! While working in dog boarding I never got to meet the pets or know anything about them (unless it was noted for everyone to be aware) before their stay. I’ve looked after people-aggressive dogs and dog-aggressive dogs, blind and deaf dogs, seizure prone dogs, as well as other medical conditions and never turned away any of them who needed to be looked after. I also don’t have a breed preference, I love them all!
A typical day
I personally like to walk on the Virgil Gilman Nature Trail or the Fox River Trail and would be happy to take a buddy who loves a good walk. I also enjoy giving my dog mini massages, as I’ve previously taken courses in massage therapy and canine massage. His favorite spots for massage are on the neck and along the back! I also love to cuddle up with my dog, watch a movie, and relax before bed.
