Pet care experience
I love animals! I grew up with a huge love for cats, and I am experienced in working with dogs that can fit in my hands and ones that weigh more than me, and I love them all! I am passionate about getting to know the personalities of each pet and connecting with them to give them the care and interaction they need. From the lazy snuggle-bugs to the extremely active, I can provide the engagement they need to have a great day. I also have experience in bathing, feeding, and administering a variety of medications in a professional dog daycare setting. I have a current certification in pet first aid and CPR. Whatever your pet needs, I can handle it.

Crystal was absolutely fantastic and took excellent care of my dog, Bennett. She was prompt, took plenty of photos to capture how happy he was, and wrote very detailed check-in reports. Crystal is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about pet care and her experience shows through. She made instant friends with Bennett and took great care of him and I would highly recommend her with complete confidence.

I cannot recommend Crystal enough! Such a kind and attentive sitter. She is a great communicator and gives specific updates that a self-proclaimed helicopter cat parent absolutely needs!! She sends lots of pics and lets me know of any behavior, food, water concerns. She plays books on tape and music and I know my cat appreciates the activity.
Crystal is fantastic! She is calm and amazing with our two cats. I knew when I got home that all had been well because they didn’t even give me the cold shoulder. Crystal took the time to get to know them and play with them. Her notes (and pictures) put my mind at ease. She loves animals, gently cares for their well being and goes the extra mile!!

Before spending time with your pet, it would be important for me to know if they have any health concerns so I can make sure whatever activity we do takes that into consideration. If your pet has any particular quirks or preferences, I would love to know ahead of time to make sure I can give them the care and fun they deserve. The breed (or best guesses) would also be helpful for planning what they would enjoy.
A typical day
I know it's important to provide both mental and physical stimulation for pets. Of course, activities are tailored to the age, health, and preferences of the dog. For the senior or special needs dogs, a slow paced walk with many smell breaks might be just what they need. For a dog with a lot of energy, a long, brisk walk at a nature trail or park might be a perfect afternoon. I also love playing fetch and frisbee and practicing basic commands.
