Aloha! I have a passion for a range of animals. I grew up having dogs, birds, fishes, and turtles. I have little experience with farm animals, however I am open minded and a quick learner. I know what it takes to give respect, love, and care to animals. In the past, I've had from a German Shepard to a Chihuahua growing up and understand the importance of multiple daily walks, training, and especially love! I have worked as a veterinary technician in Kona and Hilo where I've learned many skills in handling dogs/cats, medical procedures, and cleanliness. I have a range in experience with special needs, injured, amputees, and medical conditions. I have assisted in pre-op/post-op care in dental and surgical patients. I am able to provide oral medications, injections, and nail trimming to your precious loved one. Since becoming a new momma to a handsome little 15 month old boy, I have slightly switched my career to pet sitting, pet training, and soon a pet friendly baker of treats and cakes. I still very much love the medical aspect and plan to continue my education to be a certified vet tech and trainer. With all pets I encounter, my first training is to get your pet comfortable with a child. My son has already been around German Shepards, Huskies, Yorkshire, Dachshunds, and puppies! He already understands the first step to let animals to smell you before petting. He has been around an aggressive and dogs with high anxiety. I work diligently for both safeties of my child and your pet to get along and have fun! —————————— Q: I am worried about your little one in my home with my pets who have never been around a child. A: I totally understand and appreciate your concern! Let’s have a meet and greet so we know we’re a great fit. I’ll be the judge to determine whether the safety is a major concern. My son has been with different breeds who have never encountered a baby before and at the end of the stay, they end up getting along. :) —————————— I unfortunately do not offer boarding in my home, however if I am in your home, I will provide the upmost respect to your space. I will treat your home as if it was my own by keeping it clean, organized, and respect your rules.
