My name is Crysta and my fiancé (Jeff) and I are a couple that dogsits as we work online and explore Texas. 😊 I am a motivated and responsible self-employed artisan and eBay seller who has had experience as a home-owner, landlord, baby-sitter & pet sitter for years and years! My fiancé works at home as well as an Amazon entrepreneur and trader. Jeff also has spent time as a house and pet-sitter, and we will be your pet parents! First things first-From chickens to cows to cats & dogs, we are animal lovers. We look at taking care of your dog or cat as a mutually beneficial agreement. We get to spend time with your pet and they get love and pampering that isn't based on something we "need" to do, but something we love doing while we explore and work online. :) Pet Care Experience (Crysta):............................ Since childhood, I have been surrounded by animals which I have had all or much of the responsibility of taking care of. Prior to this I have had experience with taking care of rabbits, hamsters, cats, fish, and a Terrier (when I babysat children as well). I commonly have repeat business within my own network. I have taken care of rescue dogs with special needs, big and small dogs, older dogs and puppies so I’ve got some experience with a variety of pups! Some of my Personal Experiences/Clients: My sister got a dog 9 years ago, however she was traveling a great deal of that time for work, so I had taken on a great share of care for her super sweet pup, named Maddie...and we are besties! :) When I'm taking care of her, I do everything...from taking her for walks, to wiping her feet and bathing her when she jumps in Georgian bay, to feeding her...etc. Lastly, I can't forget to mention the foot massages and cuddle time she demands from me daily, along with keeping her a good pup by training via reward techniques! :) I recently took care of a Shi-poo pup (3rd time)! I visited him again the other day and he completely coated my face in kisses. I think he missed me? In the past I’ve taken care of a Senior Daschund (also, for the 3rd time) that needed medication and was on a pretty set schedule for eating, potty breaks, and sleeping...along with being careful with his little joints and helping him up stairs and onto the owners furniture for cuddle time., then down the road I was also able to house and help out with a friends' English Bulldog. Past Experience: (Jeff) Has taken care of multiple pets and homes for friends and family including cats and dogs. Has always had a pet to take care of and love since childhood and is excited to be a part of this little adventure with me (Crysta). Recently we took care of a miniature pincer and a small farm including chickens and gardens, and then a large 4 dog + cat family! Availability: We are pretty flexible as we are self-employed artisan/traders and online ebay/amazon sellers, so we can work at home or away from home and travel distances to do so as we experience different areas of the U.S.! For sitting overnight, we can come stay over most days and are able to follow pet schedules as my partner is a morning person and I’m a night owl. However two people does mean double the attention for your pups! ❤️ Special skills (Crysta):............................ - On the strengthfinder test (which was developed over 50 years via psychologists) my #1 strength was empathy. Empathy will aid in loving and treating your pet with the best of my ability. - I understand the importance of and the basics of operant and classical conditioning, and will do my best to learn how you have trained your dog or cat and to follow through seamlessly in that training. Special skills (Crysta & Jeff): - We are responsible, trustworthy, patient, and hard-working. We will take care of your pet and home as if it were ours, and therefore...please relax, everything is in very good hands! - We love nature, walks, and will love exploring the outdoors with your pup! - Availability is pretty open due to being self employed. Are able to work your pets schedule into ours. - Friendly, courteous, and kind. We want to leave your home as clean or cleaner then when we got there! -In our 30’s, not big partiers, and do not smoke. Any questions, please ask. :) House Sitting:............................ We lock doors, don’t snoop, and try to treat your things-your home and your Pets like ours and we want to leave your pet feeling loved and safe and your home as clean or cleaner than when we left. ❤️
