I’ve been working in the animal industry since 2012 working my way up from a pet care coordinator, veterinary receptionist, veterinary nurse, and finally veterinary hospital manager at various hospitals in Miami and Tequesta. I have been caring for my own dogs since I was very young as we've always had family dogs since I was born. I have three dogs that are all people and dog friendly and ready to meet and stay with others to make them feel right at home. I offer scheduled drop-in visits, boarding in my home, transport, dog park trips, veterinary hospital pick up and drop offs,dog walking, anything needed honestly. I'm a full-time dog mom and pet sitter ready to love on your furbabies! Having been an animal nurse for many years, I'm capable of administering any types of medications or treatments needed and offer other services such as nail trimming, anal gland expression, bathing, ear cleaning, just not haircuts as I am not trained in grooming. I can do simple "sanitary clips" that consist of trimming facial hair covering eyes and mouth, paw pad shavings, and genital area trimmings. I can train owners in administering medications/injections and subcutaneous fluids as needed. Added bonus is I come with A LOT of veterinary medicine knowledge and love client education!

Obi-Wan loves to come and stay with Cristina! As soon as we hit the stoplight to turn towards her house his tail is going 100mph and he’s yipping with excitement. Cristina is extremely accommodating and makes sure to keep me posted on my boy’s shenanigans and sends plenty of photo and video updates. Thank you Cristina for taking care my Zoomie filled furball as if he was your own!
Cristina took care of our kitten Jackie while we were on vacation for 4 days. Since we did the meet and greet, I loved how affectionate she is and dedicated to what she does, and on the days that she came to do drop-in visits, she sent us photos and videos and she kept us informed. I loved working with Cristina and I am super grateful to her and of course I will hire her services again, besides that Jackie already knows her. Thank you Cristina!!!
I am really happy to have found Cristina. She communicated with us quickly and has a sweet and caring disposition. Cristina sent us videos, pictures and updates during her visits. From the videos, I could tell that my dog really liked her. Cristina also took measures to help my furry companion with his anxiety due to thunderstorms. I highly recommend her!!

I have a fenced yard that has only one external entrance/exit and stays closed at all times. I live in a two story house and have ample space to have crates/cages if needed or preferred for overnight boarding. I've built a doggy bunker under my stairs that is equipped with a colorful light, two-way camera to hear and speak to your pets, as well as big beds and blankets to keep them comfy while they sleep. My backyard allows for unlimited playtime and potty breaks and live in a dog friendly neighborhood to take your pets on walks. I also live about 15 minutes from the Bark Park In Kendall if that is something that interests you. I feed all my own dogs separately because they like to eat each others food and would do the same for your pets. The staircase to my second floor gets blocked off to restrict second floor access to avoid accidents going up or down. I'm VERY clean and vacuum and mop my floors multiple times a day. We also do not smoke.

Please be very detailed in everything that involves taking care of your pets needs. For example, if there are things that make them nervous/don't do well with that are known such as other dogs/cats, small/large animals, loud noises, types of toys, fireworks, thunderstorms, etc. What types of treats, foods, specific diets, they can and cannot have (allergies). Any injuries I should know about, previous, current or healed surgeries. If they sleep with you or not (mine do but I cannot have any more sleep in my bed as we have no space, lol!). Ability to go up and down stairs or if needs to be picked up. Does your pet eat things such as toys, drywall, towels/blankets, pee pads, anything in general that is not food or is a repeat offender for foreign bodies (things eaten that should not be). IMPORTANT: Up to date on vaccines, parasite free and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention?
A typical day
I live in a great neighborhood for dog walking and would do so during times when the ground isn't so hot. I have a nearby park I can also take them to for walks. Trips to the Bark Park as it’s 15 minutes from my house, basic training, car rides, enrichment play time inside and out with toys, and so much more! If you have a slower paced pet like my own, we can also snuggle on the couch while I get computer work done for my businesses, Pawsitively Pets Co. and Pawsitively Pets Boarding.

Availability
Being a full-time pet sitter, I can accept drop offs as early as possible with scheduling ahead of time as well as care for your furchildren 24/7. I occasionally have to step out to run errands or drop-ins, usually no more than two hours. Your pets will get unlimited free-range playtime in and out of the house. My fenced yard and covered patio allow for extended periods of playtime sheltered from the Miami heat met with fresh fruits/veggies and homemade treats as snacks (provided your pet has no allergies or digestive issues).
