Hi! I'm new to Rover! So excited! I love dogs and often dog sit for friends. Lately I wish my friends needed more dog sitting...so I've decided to sign up with Rover. I'm doing this for fun really. I am debating getting a dog myself. But in the meantime, more dog sitting! We had dogs growing up. I grew up with cocker spaniels and my husband grew up with a basset hound. We travel a good amount so have always been hesitant about getting a dog. I'm hoping I find more dog sitting as a good alternative to dog ownership. When we dog sit for friends, we are so excited and really see it as a privilege. We live in a first floor brownstone and have a backyard. I love walking to Prospect Park. We often go on Saturday and Sunday mornings with our dog-owner neighbors just to watch all the dogs play - super entertaining!
