Pet care experience
I have lived in a dog friendly household my whole life! I now live in Roanoke and I have been a dog mom for about a year and absolutely love it- best decision I have made yet! I enjoy running and hiking and often take my dog with me on adventures. I love the outdoors so my dog and I get lots of walks in everyday.

Cristiana was awesome! One of our dogs, Finn, was having significant anxiety and she kindly let us know and worked with us on a plan. We were able to pick Finn up and she kept watching our other dog, River. River had a lovely time it seems. Thank you for being easy to work with and for being so understanding.
Christiana was wonderful with our 11 year old fussy shepherd. She was patient, kind and very communicative. The proof for me was when I picked up Bella, she was glad to see me but not overly excited (like she had been calm and "at home" all week. Thanks for everything Christiana!!

Cristiana was the perfect choice to take care of our pup! Our dog sitter canceled last minute and she was quick to answer. She really took the time to ask questions about our dog to make sure it was a great fit for everyone. She sent lots of pictures and updates. Our dog looked so comfortable and happy at her home, and he is an anxious guy. Her dog Clyde is a sweetheart and was the perfect playmate for our dog, who can get overwhelmed by bigger dogs. Cristiana is our new go to person to watch our dog!

I live near downtown Roanoke, so I am close to highland park, and many hikes/riverwalks. I take my dog on about 4 walks a day and we typically do one long adventure walk/park visit. I am also a runner, so my dog often joins me on my morning run too! I frequently have other nursing students over my apartment for studying, so there is a lot of extra love to go around if your dog likes belly scratches! My dog, Clyde, is an 8yr old hound/lab mix and is sweet and shy. He loves to sniff, take walks, cuddle, and is curious and friendly with other dogs. He is a little timid around super hyper dogs, but warms up pretty quickly. Clyde mostly sleeps all day and loves to sun bathe. He enjoys hanging with his cousins and loves a good pup-date!

I would like to know if your pet is spayed/neutered, is house trained, what kind of treats they enjoy, what places/walks they enjoy to go, are they comfortable with other dogs, how many walks do they typically get in a day, any food allergies, any special preferences or needs they may have.

I recently moved to the Roanoke area, so I love exploring and adventuring! I have enjoyed taking Clyde to new parks, around downtown, and to fun nature spots. I would love bring your dog(s) along with Clyde and I as we roam around Roanoke!

Availability
I am a nursing student in a hybrid program at Carilion Hospital and am not currently employed. I am usually in class anywhere from 2-5 hours a day, but with some of my classes being online, I tend to have a lot of time at home. I have a lot of breaks and typically don't have class into the evening, which enables me to have available nights and weekends.
