The hardest thing about my job is I love them all and when the petsitting is done it is so sad. About my service: I try to get all the information on caring for your pets so I dont have to ask questions while you are traveling. I pay a lot of attention to details and enjoy the responsibility that comes with a job well done. My work as a freelance editor is my other gig and I work odd hours at home with that. So spending lots of time with your pets is not a problem. I always make time to provide proper care for your pet when I commit to doing so. In my client's home, I provide reliable and responsible care. I go above and beyond with the attention and love I give your pet. I take extra care to keep your home clean and left better than I found it. I am sure you will ask me back if you book with me.

Crispín was great! We left him with our 6 pets including a very high maintenance large puppy who requires almost constant supervision. They were well cared for and in great shape upon our return. Crispín was in frequent contact with updates and always responded quickly to our texts. We will request his services again!

Crispin took such great care of my two labs while I was out of town for 8 days. When I came back, they were happy and tired from a fun week. When I care for a pet in my client's home, I am always sure to give them lots of activity and pay a lot of attention to them so that I feel I am doing the most I can to help them while their owner is away. Leashes, harnesses a d food routines. Also medicines, sociability with other pets or humans, habbits, behavioral problems, perhaps their ideal routine and what treats they are allowed to eat. Most of all I like to know what makes them happy and secure and how to calm them down if they are upset.
A typical day
I love walking and playing with dogs and figuring out what makes them happy. I try to make sure that their routine is on on schedule and the and that they feel like they have enough to do to keep their minds and bodies occupied. With cats I like to play with them and have them feel loved.

Availability
I work occassionally as a substitute in Portland Public Schools so have many days off. Some days I will work a half day, but when petsitting I either stay inside with your pets or stay close and not leave them alone too long.
