Due to the nature of my day job, I cannot accept pets with separation anxiety. We have a strict noise policy and dogs who excessively bark, howl, etc when alone are not permitted. No particular breed preferences but I’m totally comfortable with well-trained large breeds. My girl was 80 lbs before she passed, and I loved every ounce of her. I’m particularly handy with senior citizens (old dogs deserve all the love, too). Please let me know if your dog has any issues with other animals, leash or barrier aggression, allergies, injuries, meds, etc. For boarding at my house: all pups must be crate trained. Though they won’t spend much time in it, on the rare occasion when someone isn’t home, we want your pup to feel safe in a new place. All dogs must be on flea/tick preventive (sorry, flea collars not accepted). If fleas are found on a dog, you will incur extra fees or the booking may be cancelled. All adult dogs must be FULLY housebroken, and while accidents sometimes happen, please note you will be charged a minimum $50 clean up fee.

I love hiking and checking out new places, so if you have a high-energy pup and are comfortable with it, we can go see the great outdoors. There is plenty of hiking nearby and the Ballona Creek bike path runs parallel to my place. Got an older dog or a heat-sensitive pooch who’d rather stay indoors? We can binge on Netflix and belly rubs instead. I also keep a foldable wagon handy for seniors, young puppies, or those who tire easily. Social pups will enjoy playdates (with owner’s permission of course!)
