Pet care experience
Hi! I learned basic puppy training to save my carpet when my roommate in 2008 went out and bought a pure breed champion chihuahua. Precious as he was, I was determined to make him a loving, obedient, and above all, trusting and happy little dog. I took him to Dog Good Citizen training, where he received his first of many certificates of obedience. It was then that I also adopted. My dear friend was going to have to give his Rottweiler to a shelter. His wife’s parents were terrified of him, but not for good cause, it was just a phobia. He was very untrained, I could barely get him to focus on sitting, even if I had a steak for him. But through tough work, and an incredible amount of love, I turned a hyper 8 month old Rottie into a gentleman, and the biggest mushy mush on the planet. Eventually he became a therapy dog, and I used to bring him to all his fans at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. My only neighbors here were a young couple that not only adopted their own dog , but fostered everyday since they moved in, 1 to two other dogs. Because of my history of training, I would walk and train to walk, while they were at work. By profession, a children’s book creator and artist, so I work for myself, and have a completely open schedule. That worked out for them, and their apartment, no matter how sparkling the building’s apartments were. I have a passion for dogs, and come with references of said couple, and another woman whom I sit for. She always says, Fred’s attachment to me is wonderful and weird. He literally stares into my soul. Happy to say I’m his person, and she will happily back that up. I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty, or go the extra million miles for any and all special needs. Signing up for an app like Rover will be my first time marketing my skills, which I’m sure you’ll find as a Godsend.
Reviews
Craig is the best! He bonded instantly with my dogs. They were both worn out and happy when I came home. Will definitely book again. Thank you!
Treats my baby as his own. Will use him every time I need a sitter
Craig was awesome!! Took care of our dog as if it were his own. Will definitely use him again when I need a sitter.
We lived in the same apartment building with Craig and his partner and during the years, he would go above and beyond helping us with our foster dogs and then foster fails. He was more than happy to walk our dogs, if we weren't able to and also, watch them if we were out of town. He provided any dogs in our life with unconditional love and you would've thought they were his. I would highly recommend Craig to dog sit any dog and take on that responsibility. He's a natural with animals and you can see the love he sinks into each and every one. The owners of these dogs will be very lucky to have Craig pamper their pups and I 100% believe they will all be repeat customers.

I have a home that’s about 2,000 Square Feet. Plenty of room to run and play. I encourage it. There’s nothing like a happy healthy dog, who recognizes the peace and loving in his or her environment. We have a great relationship my roommate and I. It’s all peace here, but if there’s a barking problem? I will handle with love. Dogs are sent to Earth to be our guardian angels. They are fascinating, wonderful creatures. I don’t give up on even the worst of the conceived worst of dogs. There always a way to get them civilized, trusting and loving. An obedient dog is so much happier. When I am involved with a dog, whether it’s the weekend, or just a quick walk in the afternoon,my focus stays on the dog. I’m also a dog whisperer. Welllllll, that’s what everyone calls me. Hehe

I don’t accept more than one household at a time. I believe my focus should only be on the client that hired me. There’s two staircases to get up to my apartment, if necessary I can carry dog up and down stairs. I will learn dog first aid and CPR.
A typical day
I have a dog park right down the street, I walk no less than every two hours depending on dog’s feeding times. I’m walking up until 9pm. I have a huge apartment with lots of spare room, should the dog need to express more energy. I will always take outside depending on time of day. 9 pm it’s lights out . I encourage for sitting, the dog’s bed, or beds.

Availability
Free always due to the fact that I work for myself, and have an open schedule. I’m also not afraid to walk and relieve a house trained dog at the early morning hours. I keep farmer’s hours.
