Pet care experience
Hi there! I have a lifetime of experience and love with personal pet care. When I was 8 I started volunteering in an animal hospital my mother worked at, and from there blossomed my passion for professional animal care. More recently, I managered a dog daycare for 6 yrs, where I also began grooming. I had a close relationship with my customers and their fur babies and have missed them all since relocating to MN. I have experience with dogs of all ages, (most) breeds, sizes, training experiences, temperaments, dietary needs, and many different health condions. I have also worked and owned several types of small cage animals such as snakes, hamsters, rabbits, birds, lizards, etc. I understand the importance of not just loving a pet, but truly caring for them.
Reviews
Always the best!! She’s so caring and kind with all our animals! Each time she visits she’s sending us pictures and leaving notes on how they are doing.
Courtnie was fantastic. It was Luna’s first time boarding. Luna had some medical issues that Courtnie managed well. Luna had great socialization with her dogs and kids. Based on the pictures Courtnie shared, I was most worried that Luna wouldn’t want to come home with us as she was so happy. We would definitely use her again.
Courtnie was great with our kitties! This was the first time we left them for an extended amount of time. We felt like we made the right choice from our first meeting. She sent pictures of each visit and kept us updated on their behavior. When we returned homethe cats seemed compl
Courtnie was very flexible with our drop off and pick ups times between us running late and traffic as well. We know our pup was very loved while there!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in potty area (for dogs who can go up and down stairs on their own) and about an acre of unfenced land for play. Guest doggos will be leashed when outside of the fenced area for play for safety. Indoors, pets will have access to most of the home, freely, as one of the family (unless otherwise discussed). I am able to crate and/or crate train as well, but will need a crate to be provided. I can administer medications and assist in special needs as well (i.e. wheelchair, hearing/sight impaired, rescues, etc.).

Information Courtnie T. would like to know about your pet
I do require complete honesty about any behavioral issues your pet might have. Things to consider: Is your pet small and large animal friendly? Is your pet child friendly? (I do have two toddlers that are in the home) Have you socialized your pet well with other humans and/or animals? Does your pet play well with other dogs? (Using teeth, paws, jumping and chasing may not be signs of aggression but are not play appropriate behaviors) Does your pet have separation anxiety? Has your pet become destructive when left alone? Does your pet respond well if woken? Does your pet show signs of a prey or herding drive where they may use their mouths? (Chasing things that run or roll, nipping at ankles, responds to loud squeals are some examples) Is your pet food aggressive (all pets will be fed separately away from children and other pets)? Does your pet have any health concerns I need to be aware of, including allergies? Where does your dog usually sleep? Where does you dog usually stay when you're gone for the day (ie crate, backyard, full rage of the home, etc) How does your pet respond to having their ears, paws, and tail touched (especially important if requesting grooming services)? Is your pet trained on basic commands (sit, stay, down)? Is your pet leashed trained? How does your pet ride in car? How long have you had your pet? Is your pet spayed/neutered or in heat? Can your pet go up and down stairs easily? **I am willing to work with dogs and owners where I can, as long as you are upfront ahead of time. I take the safety of myself, my family, and my guests very seriously. Dishonesty may prevent any future services from being provided. A complete and updated set of vaccines for all dogs must be provided, as well as a name and number of their vet. I provide a safe clean environment for your pets but vaccines are never a 100% guaranteed. Rabies Dhpp + lepto Bordetella (COMPLETED at least 10 days prior to arrival)
A typical day
We like to play fetch, bubbles, work on basic commands, short or long walks, plenty of affection, and much more. If there is something you would or would not like done with your pup, just let me know.

Availability
Currently I am a stay at home mama of two human babies and 4 fur babies (two cats- Kiwi 13, Rogue 6, two dogs- Diamond 12.5, Baloo 10) so my schedule is pretty flexible to match and meet the needs of my guests. Both of my pups are great with other animals of all shapes and sizes and love providing company for your pups.
