Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of pets since I got my first dog in middle school and we got our cat soon after! In my recent life after the passing of my childhood dog I adopted a rescue from a shelter, a sweet 2 year old pitbull, which has been such a learning experience for me being the primary caretaker as an adult. I have experience with grooming, training and dealing with reactivity, vet visits, administering any medications, and feeding special diets as needed. I also have experience with cats as we do have a cat in the household so I’m familiar with litter changing, brushing, feeding, and playing. I would love the opportunity to help care for your pet and make new furry friends!

My home wouldn’t be the best for caring for other pets. I do live with my mother so ultimately I don’t think she would approve haha. We don’t have a fenced yard but my dog is trained very well with recall and I let her run in the field nearby. She is dog reactive though, so bringing other dogs around will need to be a whole thing to get her desensitized. Our cat could care less haha!

A typical day
Jazzy loves walks, I usually let her lead them and do all the sniffing she needs! She’s also high energy and loves to run so I usually let her out in the field next to our house to zoom. We play tug of war sometimes and I try to play fetch with her but she barely ever brings the ball back lol

Availability
I recently quit my full-time job so I have wide open availability pretty much. No prior commitments at this moment other than taking my sister to work so I can be available anytime after 12pm generally. If anything is needed earlier than that I can still make it work, just need to make arrangements beforehand!
