Hello! Thank you for considering me as a caretaker for your furry family member. My husband and I own two dogs, a senior Mini Daschund and a Welsh Corgi, whom we love like children, and growing up my family had a Lab German Shepherd mix and a Lab Chow mix, so I've been around dogs my whole life. I've also owned guinea pigs and beta fish and I have occasionally dog and cat sat for friends over the years. I enjoy getting to know new animals, so Rover seemed like a natural fit! In addition to being a dog mom, I am also a recently retired professional ballet dancer and current ballet instructor. I pride myself on being conscientious and responsible and I will follow any instructions to the letter. I look forward to meeting your dog or cat and making them feel as loved and cared for as possible!

Courtney has been walking my two Havanese for the past two weeks and she is great! And the pups love her. I know this because one of them looks for her after she leaves and will occasionally start whining. Courtney provides tons of hellos and belly rubs when she arrives and makes sure they have a good time sniffing and wearing themselves out on their walk. I know the pups are in good hands when Courtney is taking care of them.

In addition to providing attention and affection in the form of petting, walks, or playtime, I can check and refill food and water as needed, make sure all pets have had a bathroom break, scan their environments for any health hazards or items they may be damaging by chewing or scratching, and generally check that all pets seem healthy and happy.

Before taking care of your pet, I would like to know about their temperament and also any situations that are likely to make them frighten, agitated, or aggressive, such as storms, other animals, people, being touched on certain areas of their bodies, etc. It is my goal to make your pet as comfortable and happy as possible, so any insight into their likes, dislikes, behaviors and also any health conditions would be greatly appreciated.
A typical day
Depending on the owner's and animal's needs, pets can expect walks, playtime, cuddles, or just company. I will read your pets' cues as to what kind of interaction they seem to most enjoy, as well as follow any guidelines provided by the owner.
