Pet care experience
I am a CVT here in Oregon, and I love all types of dogs and cats. I also have a saltwater fish tank of my own and can watch your fish or other companions while you are away. I have worked in multiple facets of the veterinary world, from pet sitting, pet insurance, and now I work in a wonderful veterinary clinic. I love dog sports. I started showing my youngest dog before COVID. We are active members of the Puget Sound Labrador Retriever Association and Rose City Labrador Retriever Club. Both of my dogs are hunting dogs and love to be out in the field or on adventures. This year we have been focusing on obedience training for competition as well. Both of my dogs just finished their CGC (Canine Good Citizen) titles. I am available weekdays, weekends, and most holidays. I live in a dog friendly neighborhood that is set back off of busy streets. I have the skills necessary to administer medications as well as care for special needs pets, whether it be diabetes, kidney disease, or anxiety problems you can have confidence I am able to give proper care. I am working on my "Fear Free" certificate through my work. I have a fenced yard at my home with two labradors, but in case your four-legged friend doesn't like others, or is more comfortable in your own home I can and prefer to go to your home and visit often throughout the day to make sure your furry one is safe and happy. I am very flexible and more than willing to give updates while you are away (if wanted of course).
Reviews
I honestly cannot say enough good things about Courtney! She sent so many pictures, didn't mind me peppering her with texts throughout the two days she watched my pup and seemed to really care about my girl's happiness while she stayed with Courtney. I would and 100% will book with her again!
She was so kind and went above and beyond cleaning after my poor Padmé that had an accident in my apartment. She also sent me a picture of Padmé before the walk which was really nice as well!
Courtney rocked! She was accommodating and totally took great care of my pups. She sent pictures and also took the time to follow up with me the next day. I really appreciated her and will definitely use her again.
She was absolutely fantastic. Sent me photos and updates the entire time. He looks like he had a fantastic time. Courtney was prompt, courteous and genuinely seemed to love the animals she was put in charge of. I would 100% trust her to watch him again. I recommend her to anyone out there that needs her service.

I have a newly fenced and gravel dog area for restroom use, with a dog room and dog door. Dogs that leave the home with me always have a collar with identification on as well as a leash.
Information Courtney W. would like to know about your pet
No breed preferences. I like to know if they have allergies so as to not give them food items that will make them sick. I love to know what their normal daily routine entails, so I can make sure to mimic that schedule. I like to know if they have any aggression, fear, anxiety, or stress with new people, or dogs, so I am able to make them feel more at ease. I require updated Rabies and Bordetella or a letter from your vet saying they can't be vaccinated if your pet is staying in my home. If your pet has a contagious infection (Giardia, Coccidia, Kennel Cough, etc), I would be more than happy to accommodate your pet in their own home, I will not board ill pets.
A typical day
My dogs love to walk everywhere and play fetch. I love new trails and I am willing to take your dog to their favorite walking grounds. I love to engage dogs so they aren't lonely with puzzles and treat balls as well as letting them burn off energy with a good game of fetch.
