Doc Vacay w/ WFH Mom + Friendly Dog

Pet care experience

I have been active on Rover off and on the last 7 years. And have a couple repeat clients who have turned friends (of mine and my dog Jax's) Jax is a *nearly* 2yo Mini Aussie Shepherd. Very loving, playful and sweet! Gets along great with other dogs and is always looking for a friend! When your pup is treated with my care, they are ALWAYS treated as part of the family with lots of love, cuddles and walks! (Every now and then if I have the time, I even bring them on outings if you are open to it and I feel like an adventure, like taking them to the cafe, walk the 606 or taking them to the park) They will always be accompanied by my dog, so your dog must be able to get along with other dogs.

Courtney (and her dog Jax!) took great care of Tommy for a long weekend. She sent lots of photos and updates each day so we knew how he was doing and it put us at ease while away.

Courtney was a real deal! She took Cary of our adult baby for almost a week, sent the detailed updates about our fur baby almost every hour, and made him feel like home! She was always responsive and professional, asking all the little details about our pup. Thank you Courtney!!!

Courtney is the BEST. I have never had a sitter who updates me so frequently on my pup which made me feel very comfortable that I knew what was going on while I was gone. She was very responsive to all messages and sent the cutest pics and videos. 10/10 can watch my pup again!

There are not enough starts for Courtney. We had to make an emergency booking for a work trip and contacted Courtney based upon her amazing reviews. We are always nervous leaving our fur baby especially with new people. Our senior pup has high anxiety and a medical condition. Courtney took all of our crazy mom and dad notes with stride and made time to meet with us in advance. She sent sooo many pictures and videos that she sent before I could even reach out to ask how our little guy was doing. She even trained our little guy to use a pee pad (something we hadn't been able to do!!) If you want a sitter that treats your fur baby with the same love and attention you do, Courtney is your gal : )

Photos: I send a handful of photos each day w a little recap of what we got up to. At minimum a morning and evening update. If we end up going on a little adventure I may send more. My home: I have 2 Bed / 2 Bath and an open living/kitchen area. During the day i find everyone likes to sit in the living room and watch out the window (or hang out on the balcony previously mentioned). My building has a little fenced in space where I can let the dogs out off leash to pee, and also I have a private rooftop where if the weather is nice I take the dogs up there to hang out in the sun. Crates: If you crate your dog, please bring this. I have a travel crate that is for Jax (~30lb) size but I find dogs much prefer their own space and would be much more comfortable. First Time: I prefer a meet and greet for our pups before their stay, this way you and I both have peace of mind that your dogs going to have a comfortable stay while you're away!

Information Courtney W. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know any unique things like: any special needs or medications, are they scared/reactive to anything, do they eat toys/stuffing so I need to pack them away, etc. General info I will gather before hand: what is their typical bathroom routine? Feeding schedule? How long can they be left alone? Do you crate them or leave them free?

A typical day

Walk/schedule and outdoor areas described above. I do provide toys/treats throughout the day or if I am going out and need to leave them along for a few hours.

Availability

I WFH so my usual schedule is: 8am ~ morning walk / breakfast ~2pm ~ midday walk 6pm ~ evening walk / dinner 8pm - quick walk for a bathroom break Depending on the weather, I also have a doggy door out to my balcony where they can go out, sit in the sun and there is a little grass pee pad out there they can use. On weekends I usually can do a longer morning/afternoon walk depending on what I have on!
