I have 5 cats and a golden retriever. My animals are all up to date on flea and tick medication and their vaccines. My golden retriever gets along with other dogs very well. My cats generally ignore dogs and avoid bothersome ones. I have pet gates and a spare room to separate animals as needed and can also provide space on separate floors of my home. I have been around lots of dogs in my life! I have experience with several hound breeds, bully breeds, German shepherds, golden retrievers, yellow labs, beagles, and mixed breeds just to name a few. I have had senior dogs a few times and have personal experience raising puppies over 8 weeks old. Many of my friends and family members call me a cat whisperer. I make friends with every cat I meet and am excellent at reading their body language. I raised a litter of kittens in the fall of 2020 and have rescued many cats over my lifetime. I take dogs out from 8 AM to 12 AM, depending on how often they need to go out. They go out every 2-4 hours or more often as needed. I feed them on their usual schedule and walk them at least once a day when they’re boarded with me. I will do my very best to meet the needs of your pet(s)! I send updates once per day. I give them enrichment activities in the late morning/early afternoon and supervised play time with my dog - if they get along - throughout the day. I separate the dogs at 8 PM so they can have some down time before bed. All dogs stay on leash when they are outside. I have one dog eat at a time in a separate room with multiple dogs in the house to avoid resource guarding/aggression. I have lots of toys for them to play with and give them attention when they ask for it.
