I grew up on a sheep farm and have had all kinds of pets since I was young. As an adult, I work with various breeds of farm animals, foster kittens/dogs, and help with the occasional wildlife emergency. I pride myself on great attention to detail with every animal in my care! ** I also am able to farm sit or provide farm animal and exotic care - message to inquire! ** I am currently only able to take overnight housesitting bookings where my dog is able to come with me - I’d be happy to tell you more about her and let you and your pup(s) check her out! She loves making new friends! I strive to make the animals feel safe and relaxed in any environment they are in. I have absolute respect for my clients’ homes and their animals’ routines.

Courtney came highly recommended and exceeded our expectations. We live in DC, but were in Lewisburg visiting family for a Penn State game and needed someone to walk our dog, Lacy, while we were away. We knew that Lacy, an anxious rescue, would be out of sorts being left alone away from home, so it was important to find someone who would make her and us feel comfortable. Courtney made the time to come by on Friday evening for a meet and greet and followed our instructions to a T while we were away. She is clearly knowledgeable about dog behavior and we not only got a nice recap of the walk but came home to a relaxed and very sleepy pup. Thank you so much, Courtney!
Courtney took great care of our pups while we were gone. It made traveling so much easier knowing that she was taking care of them.

I am comfortable with keeping your animals on their current routine - I strive to not disrupt their normal environment or stress them out. If your dog is used to being an off leash dog, I try to honor that as long as they have a fenced yard available or can demonstrate good recall with me.

A typical day
I love taking my dog for long walks and letting her sniff to her heart’s desire, so I’d be happy to do the same for your dog. I’m also down to play fetch, go for a car ride, or even just have some snuggle time with your low-key pup!! Every animal is different - I like to learn their personalities and tailor my approach to them specifically.
