My husband calls me a "crazy dog lady" because I spend most of my day cuddling with our dog, taking pictures of the dog, giving treats to the dog, petting the dog, etc. When I go to a friend's house, I spend most of my time trying to get their pet's attention. My dog is a little poodle mix that I absolutely adore! He's somehow the calmest and craziest dog at the same time. For years, I have been trusted with taking care of neighbor's dogs (and homes) while they were away on vacation, to give them a peace of mind regarding their pet at home. I have experience and comfort with cats as well. I am a true dog lover- I may be mildly allergic to dogs, but it doesn't stop me from giving them love!
