Pet care experience
I am the epitome of a dog lover! I am the person that wants to meet every dog I see when in public, and dream of running my own shelter one day. I have had multiple dogs in my home during my entire 28 years of life, and caring for my two doggies is my number one hobby! Whether it's taking walks, bike rides, throwing the ball, bathing, trips to the vet, hanging out on the deck, or making homemade dog treats; I enjoy it all!! I have a wide array of experience with many different breeds of dogs that I have personally owned such as: border collie, shelties, husky, dachshunds, and a shiba inu. My lifelong obsession will forever be Pugs :) I work full-time during the week but am available for drop-ins and walks in the evenings, as well as in-house dog sitting during the weekends. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, and just started volunteering with the Heart of America Humane Society where I will be working with dogs of all breeds and backgrounds. She cares for her dogs like they are her children and spoils them rotten :) You won't have to worry about your dog at all when she is watching them; not only is she a great care giver, but she is fantastic at giving updates and sending pictures to you throughout their time spent with her. She is definitely my number one choice when it comes to leaving my dogs in someone else's care! Courtney's love of animals and professionalism have been an absolute blessing to us. Our dog is like a child to us so it is vital that we have someone we can trust. Courtney's magic touch with animals shines through. Patchie is always so excited to see her when we leave him in her care and more importantly he is completely relaxed when we pick him up. She has a magic touch with animals and understands how to keep your pet happy, safe and well cared for while you are away.And she knows how to keep pets owners worries at bay with texts, photos and updates. I have a 14 year old sheltie, so I will only take in dogs that get along with him -- I like to set up meet and greets beforehand to ensure everyone gets along and will be comfortable :)
A typical day
I have a fenced backyard where the dogs can run out their energy -- they will never be left unattended though! I also live near Legacy Park where there is a paved trail for adventurous walks!
